What an absolute gem of a place!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food and coffee is wonderful.
My first time here, but certainly won’t be my last.
The classes offered sound excellent so I shall be looking to book on some of those.

A lovely new cafe in Hathersage which we have been to several times now . It has a unique feel with a combination of a cafe, retail outlet, event space and a place to come and work. The large bench style tables produce a real communal feel and my wife particularly enjoys knitting squares from the public knitting platters.

We loved our visit to Open House in Hathersage! We were originally recommended by my personal trainer, but now we highly recommend visiting!!

It's a charming spot with a cosy atmosphere and a big plus for us - it's dog-friendly! The food was delicious, especially the salmon bagels. We couldn't resist the coffee - so good, we had to grab another on our last day, too.

Delighted to stumble across Open House. A beautiful space with delicious fresh food. The deco and crafts on sale are so well curated by the owners who have travelled far & wide. This is bound to become a destination venue for anyone exploring the magnificent Peak District.

Open House in Hathersage is a beautiful place with a charming, rustic look. I tried a vegan cake there, and it was amazing. I also really enjoyed the journaling book they had. The people are nice and friendly too. It's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy some great treats.

This cafe is an absolute must if you’re in Hathersage. The coffee is delicious, staff are friendly, the soup is great and the cakes are mouthwateringly good!
It’s got a relaxed feel with big communal tables and lots of little things to buy. Theres a little bring & borrow library section too and an art project you can contribute to.
One of the pieces is a gratitude journal. I’m very grateful for this wonderful place ❤️🙏❤️

So glad I found Open House! Such a calm welcoming atmosphere, a lovely place to eat and take a breath in a busy day. Quite a few people were quietly working here, and I wished I could linger too. Lovely food, lots of little details, like the seeds and nuts on my sourdough French Toast. Delicious! I’ll be back!

Gorgeous space! I went along to a Salsa Sunday event, and it was warm and welcoming. Lovely snacks and alcohol free drinks were available (you can BYOB) - I enjoyed an AF margarita. They have lots of great activities, classes, and workshops going on throughout the week. Definitely worth going in to see for yourself!
