Be careful with open door, one week they will sort your medication properly and the next they will deny that it's possible and you have to find your own medication from any chemist in the Grimsby/ cleethorpes area. They are a joke

Absolutely horrendous service from the receptionist, Samantha.
She is rude and her behaviour towards patients is unprofessional and quite frankly disgusting.

As a carer of a disabled person, I believe the way she acts towards people needs fixing.
She picks and chooses who she helps and that is not on.

I have contacted care plus and made an official complaint against her, and will take all the steps necessary to make assure this doesn't happen to patients again.

Been refused an appointment by receptionist knowing that the paitient is in need.
Edit receptionist was rude, set my anxiety off contacted care plus about Samantha the receptionist to make a formal complaint as I feel like she is targeting me as I've made complaints about her before.

Can’t seem to see a doctor anymore. I’ve contact at 8am on the dot everyday for four days and when I finally get through doctors appointments are gone. I booked in with a nurse and she told me I need to see a doctor. I’ve been with these since they opened and it was great when dr Azeez was there now I can’t even see a doctor when I need one. I wil be unfortunately changing surgerie.

If you are looking for a GP in Grimsby - just *don't bother* with Open Door. Whilst the reception staff are helpful and nursing staff have been professional and friendly, that doesn't make up for the fact that they have ONE person manning the phones for booking appointments (at all times) and the only time you can book an appointment (to get a VERY rushed 2 minute phone call with the Doctor at a random time on the same day) is on a Monday morning at 8am, Wednesday at 8am, or *sometimes* Thursdays at 8am.

Have kids, working or doing literally ANYTHING at that time?

Tough luck, you will never see a GP and receptionists will do nothing about it.

Want to see their counselling service? Tough luck, can't get an appointment despite having a self-referral service (you'll just get told not to bother and that they are never taking on new clients).

Need urgent results discussing with the dr (which I've needed)? Tough luck, it's impossible to talk to one. Been on the phone 2+ hours now waiting in their stupid queue system that gets booked up within 30 minutes because everyone and their dog needs an appointment.

Want to visit in person at 8 to secure an appointment via seeing a receptionist face-to-face? Nope - they don't allow that, either.

Need to see a GP face-to-face? Tough luck, doesn't happen with Open Door unless you about with trying to get a telephone appointment first (waste of time and resources)

Trying to get an appointment in advance? Nope - don't do that here.

Unless all you have is perfect health or prescriptions that will never change (but they'll still occassionally mess you about with them every other week by just not ordering them and WON'T bother to put them in urgently despite messing up) you won't benefit from any 'services' offered here.

CQC really need to look into such poor patient experience here.
