We thought we would share this lovely feedback we received from S's daughter. "I have nothing but praise for the whole team at One Day at A Time. From the carers that take care of my mum, to the administration and management team who go above and beyond, every one we have interacted with has been immensely helpful and caring.
We engaged One Day at a Time as our family member was struggling to look after themselves because of mental health, substance abuse and medical issues. One Day at a Time has been intrinsic helping us look after our family member and always have their best interest at heart.
Having used other care agencies in the past, I was skeptical how much difference they can make but they have honestly made a world of difference. Not only does our family member trust the carers completely and have a great rapport with them, the communication between carers, management and ourselves has been outstanding.
I never doubt whether the agency will take action when medical help is needed and their involvement has meant our family member is now able to access more regular medical help than ever before.
Having a family member with mental health, substance abuse issues and health complications can be incredibly draining and upsetting. One Day at a Time have not only helped our family member, but also have relieved some of the burden from us as we know and trust they will take care of them. This has had an immeasurable impact on our own mental health as it finally feels like we have a trusted team in our corner, helping take care of our loved one.
