I would highly recommend olive home care and support limited they have cared for a few of my family members over the last 6 years and have been so supportive to us as a family. They are now the care company we are using for my uncle who has Autism and severe learning disability and they have been amazing and given him a new lease of life. He is now getting out in the community with his carers too. thank you to the management team for all your help,advice and care you provide. We honestly can't Thank you enough. My uncle could not continue living at home with out you.

As a family we engaged the services of Olive Home Care several months ago. Hayley came to visit first and went through how the service worked, and the support that was on offer. Hayley also spent time exploring what the needs were. Since then, carers have come in each morning and it has made the world of difference. Petra and Denise have been the main carers, but we have seen others on odd occasions. Each and every staff member is an utter credit to this company. They are respectful, thoughtful, helpful and proactive. It is a pleasure to see someone each time they visit. We could not be more happy with our choice. Thank you to everyone both in front, and behind the scenes, for all the valuable support that you provide.

We have been using this company for a number of months now for my 87 year old mother who has recently finished chemotherapy. The care that my mother receives is outstanding. Staff show genuine and respectful care. Petra and Denise are the main carers who attend. Such lovely people.
This company provide exactly what we need, and exactly wha was promised. Thank you for all you do to support us as a family.

Social services sent my care package to this company and initially I was impressed, especially as I’ve been through quite a few companies now and no one seems to be able to get things right - I was hopeful they understood and could provide good care. But unfortunately as soon as I met the regular carer I realised they are just the same as all the other care agencies - they promise the world and fail to deliver. The girl was nice but she was from abroad and despite having a very clear care plan she rudely assumed I couldn’t do anything for myself - she snatched things out of my hands, was very rude to me and was more interested in sitting on her backside to have a chat at any opportunity that actually doing any work. I tried to make it work but in the end it just caused me way too much stress - I’m autistic and I had a meeting with Debbie who agreed to only send certain staff as I’d got to know them well and was ok with them, but despite this I still got random people turning up I’d never met and they didn’t know me or my care so that made me anxious. The final straw was a carer leaving my front door open while I was asleep in bed - not just once but twice. Plus the completely wrong time was recorded in the log book twice which is extremely dangerous. I made a complaint via email as I felt these issues were extremely serious, I did ask for Debbie to phone me to discuss but she never bothered she just decided to send me extremely rude emails denying everything and causing me even more upset. I’d already tried phoning the office previously and I got Hayley (deputy) she was extremely rude on the phone and I had to end up putting the phone down on her - Debbie denied this saying the call was witnessed in the office by management but it doesn’t explain why she never ever even tried to call me back when I clearly was unhappy and had a complaint. They tried everything to shut me up and bully me into putting up with poor care - including saying I had to give 21 days notice to leave. I contacted social services and it’s funny as soon as they were made aware I did get a phone call back from Debbie and she offered to stop my care there and then if I wanted. You shouldn’t be treating anybody like this - anyone has the right to make a complaint and have that complaint heard and dealt with. I saw carers driving whilst using a mobile phone, speeding, bitching about other customers and other staff members while I was under their care - disgusting. I had serious concerns about my swallowing while I was with them which caused me to attend a&e four times in a taxi myself but the carers couldn’t care less. Fingernails were dropped on my carpets by them and my toilet was left filthy after I’d let them use it. Apparently they train all their carers in autism but one felt it was ok to say to me ‘looking at you I’d not even know you are autistic’ - this isn’t acceptable or kind. Once they had stopped coming I found the rubbish they’d apparently taken to the bins for me wasn’t in the bins properly and so foxes had dragged it all out across the grass in a huge mess - I’m disabled but I was left cleaning it all up, not exactly helping me and it’s not hard to put rubbish in a bin properly! I reported them the cqc they need inspection. Avoid at all costs.

Olive home care and support has come along way in the last 2 years, we have a great team of care staff who provide excellent levels of care to our service users.

We have never received a complaint about missed calls and if this was reported with our transparent approach to mistakes this would be evidenced and documented.

We are continuing to grow our service supporting both private and local authority service users who are treated as equals and with dignity and respect.

We are proud of our team and how far we have come.

I cant thank olive home care enough for the care and support they show my great grandad, the carers are all very professional and show compassion always. The support we recieve as a family from office staff and carers is amazing. We will always be grateful. Highly recommend this brilliant care company. ?
