I was referred to a dermatologist two years ago and placed on the waiting list for a biopsy, which took 19 months to schedule. Following the biopsy, I was prescribed medication for six weeks to assess any improvement in my skin condition. Unfortunately, after completing the course, I saw no improvement. When I called the clinic to discuss this and schedule a follow-up, I was given an appointment in November.

On the day of my appointment, I called the clinic to confirm, as I hadn’t received a reminder text. To my shock, I was informed that I had been discharged by the doctor without any notification, despite calling a month earlier to report that the treatment hadn’t worked and to confirm my appointment.

This experience has been deeply frustrating. I’ve struggled with this skin condition for six years, consulting multiple GPs before finally being referred to dermatology, only to encounter this lack of support and communication. This has significantly impacted my mental health, and I cannot recommend this clinic. Additionally, the receptionist was unhelpful, which added to my disappointment. I hope the clinic is reviewed thoroughly by the authorities, as another practice in the same building recently was and subsequently closed down.

Takes 50 mins to get through and when you do and explain you are 7 months overdue for a follow up and have a changing mole on a cancer patient . No apology or reason given for no appointment being made . Left in awkward silence while they look for one , then have me wait another 3 weeks . Clearly don’t want to be there & no customer service skills . This service is awful !

Has gone so downhill. Used dermatology here for years. They were always great. Now I'm getting appointment letters after the appointment date, can't get through on the phone just get engaged or a recorded message telling me to call between 8am and 6pm when it's lunch time, and when I do get through told sorry not opened next month's appointment book yet so keep calling back. They don't even ask your name, who you need to see, if you're responding to a letter. Really unprofessional. Suppose to see them every 3 months for medication but haven't seen them now since August. Now out of medication too. They've managed to send a letter though telling me if I don't make an appointment they'll take me off their list and I'll have to go through the whole GP referral thing again. This is despite me repeatedly ringing for said appointment. Utterly useless

I trended a 8:20 am foot appointment prior to surgery at 14:45 . I got a voicemail at 14:01 to cancel. The excuse is that I needed to be seen by a Dr and the nurse does not do feet . REALLY YOU ONLY REALISE 45 minutes prior . Complete incompetence. I had seen the Dr prior so are the NHS accepting shoddy SLA ?

This company is appalling with untrained an unknowledgeable staff. This is not an unfounded allegation. My father attended the clinic some weeks ago, and it was explained by his carer, he had dementia and I also had chronic health and lived 200 miles away. The clinic assured us that someone would contact me due to my power of attorney etc to explain his diagnosis and treatment.
At no point has anybody from this clinic contacted us Until today, with a text with less than a week's notice for an appointment with no explanation as to what procedure or even the diagnosis was. At the appointment, the staff were also clearly given details. Our forthcoming holidand have now made an appointment during the middle of it.
I called the advertised number several times this morning which was constantly engaged eventually after a forty minute wait It was answered by a receptionist who at best was unprofessional and could not have been less helpful if they tried. I explained the situation and she immediately blamed an 87 year old with dementia For the mix up stating, how are they to know he had dementia? One would assume the fact that they were told by the carer and it was clearly explained Was how they were supposed to know this?
I asked the lady what exact procedure they were hoping to do as we have never been told & she got extremely defensive at this.O asked why no one had called me and again extreme defence, indeed whatever question I asked she was defensive and completely unhelpful. Due to her appalling lack of knowledge help or customer service. I made a formal subject access request for the Transcript of the call which I am legally entitled to. She ignored this request on 3 different occasions. Eventually, stating she was uncomfortable with the question before admitting she had no idea what I was talking about. This lack of knowledge of gdpr is even more concerning considering they have apparently personal information regarding my father. Throughout the call, she consistently told me she was uncomfortable with my questions and that I would have to speak to someone named Charlotte who a service managerand part of the multi disciplinary team. I asked to speak to Charlotte but was told she wasn't there today and there was nobody else within the entire company I could speak to who could answer the simple question of what procedare you trying to do to my father and what was his diagnosis!!!
I asked for an email address, but apparently the company don't have one. The only contact they will give out is the phone number with the 40 minute wait and a receptionist who cannot answer any questions. Alternativaley, I could write into them, which is completely unhelpful given this short time scale for them to receive and address the issue before the appointment has been and gone.

Forgive this lengthy post, but hopefully someone from this private company doing work for the NHS will read this review and get in touch very quickly. In the meantime, I shall consider reporting the breach of GDPR to the UK government information commissioner's office.

Had two appointments cancelled now due to Dermatologists phoning in sick . Never been given a new appointment . Absolutely disgusted with the lack of patient care at this clinic . I’m suffering with my skin and will now have to probably pay to go private . The one appointment I did have ,the Dermatologist didn’t even seem to know what he was talking about !!
