My cousin is in Old Hastings House. She is well cared for and our experience from our visits is that the staff are friendly ,caring and ,what si important to us oldies, not patronising.

This is not my experience as a resident, but as the son of Win Hart who was a resident of Old Hastings House (OHH) from March 2012 until her death in May 2014. I could not have been happier with the standard of care that was given to my mother, and the general cheerfulness of the staff. It was a great relief to me that she ended her days there, and I will always feel a sense of gratitude to ALL of the staff. If all residential care homes in the UK were run to the standard of OHH, there would be no significant problems.
