This surgery is so good. Every time I have called, the receptionists have been so friendly and come across caring and actually trying to help you. Every time I have spoken to a Doctor, pharmacist or paramedic at this surgery they have always had time to talk and really help me. I get very anxious when it comes to medical conditions and they are so understanding with this.
This morning was exceptional service. I called about my son at 8.30 and by 8.40 a doctor had called. Picture sent to him, once received the doctor called me back straight away and all was dealt with by 8.50am with good knowledge and good after care advice.
You really feel cared for at this practice.

Good luck getting results. Blood tests carried out at the hospital, updated on Patient Access with two tests showing as abnormal. Call reception to book a phone appointment to discuss to be told no appointments so no way of finding out what abnormal means, or what can be done about it...

Had a nightmare with Bramblys grange medical practice trying to get an appointment and decided to move to Old Basing medical practice and so nice to call and wait a few minutes and be greeted by a person who scheduled a call back and the person clarified my PSA results.Very helpful!

Also put in an econsult request for a separate issue via the web site and got a call back on the day they stated. Lady was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Very lucky to be in the catchment area for this surgery. Should have moved here years ago.

I needed to change a Physio appointment which I wasn’t able to do because there were no forward appointments on the computer system. But the Receptionist I spoke to was excellent. Unfortunately I omitted to ask her name, but she was friendly, articulate, and came across as really caring/ willing to go that extra mile.

Old Basing Health Centre's website is FACTUALLY INCORRECT!! If you live in the surrounding villages, they still refuse you to allow you to register. The Receptionist is typically " The Computer Says No " kind of person. Sadly Very Unhelpful

Spoke to receptionist, found her incredibly rude, and patronizing. She would not let me get my point across. Interrupting everytime I wanted to speak. I would give zero stars if it gave me the option to.

Booked covid jab online for 08:35, didn't get seen until 09:10, nurse said it was because of computer problems, but she didn't walk in the building until 08:50!
