been here for a very long time absolutely brilliant doctor surgery never had a problem with them. Doctor Dogan is an exceptional doctor and he has really helped and a very difficult circumstances so grateful for the time and effort he has put into my family . His caring And empathy Goes well and beyond his G.P duty of care. Kim the receptionist is professional and courteous at all times, I think we have to remember the stress that they have to work under and how busy they are working for the NHS.I have found the Surgery to be extremely professional and courteous especially on the telephone When making an appointment, well done Kim Much appreciated. I have found as a team they work brilliantly to help all they care for. Of course you get some people who aren’t happy That goes without saying. But all in all I can only say what I have experienced. I think they’re a great team of doctors and receptionist.

On the 3rd of February 2025 at exact 2.10pm I spoke to (Kim or whatever she called her name) most unprofessional, lack of sympathy, impatient, rude, ruthless, receptionist of all time at this Oakwood medical centre. I have been a patient of this practice for about 15years, I know they are bad but this is the worst of it all. How can you put a ruthless human being at your front desk, when you know that this is the only person that makes or break an impression. Common Oakwood medical centre, you can do better than this.

Terrible Service and Rude Receptionist

I had a terrible experience with the receptionist (Kim) at this GP today. I called to book an emergency appointment and waited half an hour on hold. When I finally got through, I tried to explain my situation, but she didn’t even listen and suddenly hung up on me without booking the appointment. Frustrated, I called back, only to find myself 10th in the queue! Since I was in a rush, I went to the GP in person to resolve the issue face-to-face.

When I finally spoke to the receptionist, instead of explaining why she hung up on me, she completely ignored me and took another call without saying a word. I waited until she finished, but she didn’t even bother to apologize. When I asked why she didn’t book my appointment, she said, “I knew you’d call us back, so I didn’t make the appointment.” This was disrespectful and unprofessional!

The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism in dealing with patients is unacceptable.

The reception are amazing! Really short waiting time my call got answered very promptly. I spoke with Ava on the phone and she was extremely helpful with my queries and she got everything done while I was still on the phone. thank you !

Thank you, Nurse Marina, the "Smear Queen"! If every smear test were as smooth and reassuring as yours, more women would feel at ease. It was by far the fastest and most comfortable experience I’ve ever had. Although I usually prefer to keep things private, I’m sharing this in the hope that it encourages more women to prioritise their health. Cervical cancer is preventable, and the NHS screenings can make all the difference.

I have ben registwred here for years and now as a Cancer patient they never want to help. I struggle with English and the blonde Lady in the reception is extremley rude. I have not been able to see my Dr for months.

Doctor was supposed to call me at a specific time to explain my results. She called hours later. Also, receptionist is borderline rude. Appointment slots are too far in the future. I feel like they could do better on so many fronts

I was there today at 9:20, and the receptionist is a spectacular girl, her name is Brittanie, she is a charming girl, for the first time I notice closeness and trust with someone at the reception, because I always have to go out. . . without knowing much because I don't know how to speak English and she is the first person who is interested in me understanding well what she told me, it is true that I have to learn English, but she tried at all times that I understand what she told me about my dates and my medical prescriptions and test results, this girl is a sweetheart ❤️Britannia you’re the best
