This morning I had a nerve block injection at The Oaks. My last experience at this hospital, several years ago, wasn't good, so I was not particularly looking forward to today. However, this stay could not have been more different to my previous one. Everyone on the whole team was friendly, efficient, reassuring and kind. My grateful thanks to everyone involved.

Great service from caring staff. I was on my own and very nervous about my surgery, but the staff were very caring and reassuring. They made the stay feel comfortable and as relaxing as a stay in hospital can be.very lucky to have been able to have my op there.

We take an appointment with dermatology, pay the money, get a prescription and 6 months later (because Oaks has no Pharmacy of its own) ) and because of it, they have no idea what is available on the marker, you are still chasing a medication and your skin is now on fire.
Call reception and the seem hellbent in letting you know what can not be done instead of being helpful or at least try to find a solution for distressed patient. So what have we paid for?

Very bad experience and rather expensive...avoid if you can!

The Oaks hospital staff from pre-assessment, reception, theatre and ward staff were so friendly and reassuring. Mr Alfhaily was reassuring and clear regarding my procedure. I would definitely go back to The Oaks.

Appointment for severe arthritic pain cancelled 3 times with one being cancelled on the way to the appointment after arranging time off work. When doctor finally showed up at the hospital, he was running over so much that I didn't get seen and we had to leave. Appalling! Appropriate seating for elderly, inadequate.

On Tuesday 30th July 24 in the afternoon as a NHS patient went into day surgery at the Oaks Hospital to have injections in my lumbar spine.
The nurses were so kind and caring you could tell they loved there jobs and made you feel welcome. The Atmosphere was peaceful within the ward.
I went in to have the procedure done it was really painful but the Doctor was really caring and his calm manor put me at ease. The Radiologist and Nurse constantly spoke to me keeping me as relaxed as possible for a painful procedure.
A big thank you

If only the phone calls can be answered. I had to left 3 messages, 4/5 hours apart, and never got a call back. Eventually drove there to ask important urgent questions

Went to the gynecologist at this centre. The facilities are fine and I saw the consultant. Was very difficult to understand what he said. He did some unnecessary test for conditions I could not have and referred me to another clinician. No follow up from the hospital to see if my condition has improved. Very disappointed in the service not received.
