I had hernia surgery last week.

Very fake and awful hospital. Nursing staff made mistakes, no privacy and backchatting patients in the corridors and staff were rough in patient care.

Also at 9pm they wanted me out despite not being fit enough to leave as they wanted the bed for another patient. No care at all and not considerate to my after care either as they don't see it as their problem.

The consultant was great but that is it really. I also observed how some patients were treated differently depending on colour and type of patient. I wasn't even being offered food for breakfast. Had to ask myself because apparently they didn't know I had stayed the night. I actually didn't want any anyways but it's the fact of the matter wasn't offered.

Never want to use again!!! Way better private hospitals around than this!! Plus when I've been inpatient in NHS, never have I had any issues so goes to show the different priorities these private hospitals have. It's all about the money only and fake and forced care due to gaining money. Had staff rush me off bed just because shift was ending. So awful there, never again will I go there.

Received excellent care at Oaklands Hospital. Have had surgery in 4 private hospitals and this was the best.
Came in for gall bladder surgery.
Mr Iqbal is a very experienced and excellent surgeon. His anaesthetist Dr Wai was very attentive to my concerns and made the anaesthetic experience a breeze.
All the hospital staff are very pleasant and helpful.
The nursing care was exceptional and outstanding. Particular thanks to Zony and Beauty.

I recently had a two night stay here after undergoing surgery.
Starting with parking it’s free but very small so it can be hard to find a space but you don’t have to go far to park on side streets etc. I got taken to my room which was immaculate, everything was spotless, I have attached photos, I’d say looking at some other rooms I had a smaller one but it was nice and cosy and exactly what I needed 🙂
The staff there are brilliant, I was under Bilal Alkhaffaf and his team, the theatres lady’s there helping especially Kate really put my mind at ease and I was super comfortable going in for the procedure!
Come around I was abit rough but all the staff were super friendly and were super patient with me, nothing was ever to much! I was looked after a lot by Aileen Benig who must be the most caring person ever, again nothing was ever to much, she was so kind and calming and reassured me everytime, everytime the buzzer was pressed no matter what time of the day they come and seen me swiftly! The catering staff were also very very friendly! I had a fantastic stay under the circumstances and I wouldn’t hesitate to have any other surgery here again.

I attended The Oaklands hospital for hip surgery, where I had excellent treatment, from the the ladies on the reception, the ward staff and the theatre staff. I felt like I was cared for on each stage of my treatment. I had a very nice room with en-suite I could not find fault anywhere I wish I could remember everyone’s names, I don’t want to say the ones I remember because everyone gave the best standard of care. I can’t forget the physio’s who were also great and encouraging. Both day and night nurses and nursing assistants staff were kind and friendly while giving me great care. Special thank you to the hospitality ladies who served the best meals and the ladies who kept my room spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this hospital based on my experience.

If I could give this hospital a 0 I would. 2 operations at this hospital in the last 24 months and still not healed and constant bleeding everyday for 24 months. Multiple appointments with dressing clinic sometimes attending every 2 days and they can’t do much also multiple appointments with my consultant Mr Iqbal. Well he doesn’t seem to know what to do either he’s the one who done the operation had a meeting with the director of the hospital and the outpatient manager it seems like they just agree with you and tell you what they want you to hear. Got me an appointment with a different consultant Mr Ullah another appointment wasted he spoke to me like I was thick and stupid with a terrible attitude then had the audacity to say we can do another operation but we can’t guarantee the bleeding will stop. The whole point of my second operation was to stop the bleeding and I’m still the same bleeding 24 months on every single day. They are now passing the book which I said to the director of the hospital Sarah it feels like this hospital is trying to pass the book to a different hospital which isn’t fair. Fix what you have caused. Oh let’s not forget I remember in the dressing clinic nurses was talking to each other and they said “As usual Mr Iqbal doesn’t put much on post ops” yes I should not of heard this but I did and the faith I have in this hospital is none. They have discharged me twice to my doctors with active bleeding what they have caused when you call them and ask why they say “you disappear off the system after 2 week” this was near Christmas and this call was recorded at the time it is shocking to see this hospital treating patients like this. Mr Ullah sends my doctor a letter to refer me to a different hospital because these can’t deal with the bleeding they have caused then my doctors calls me and says we’re sorry we can’t refer you anywhere because Mr Ullah doesn’t specify which department in the hospital yet again another failure causing more of a delay. I could go into a lot more detail but I’d be here hours. I would advise anyone to stay away from this hospital you should be ashamed of yourselves and how you treat people. ENJOY BEING ON THE NEWS OAKLAND HOSPITAL.
