Quite bad, you cant register if you are already registered with other gp. My mrs doesn't drive this surgery is next door literally .3 miles it will easier to commute and good reviews from other on google. It doesn't quite add up . Not sure is this a rule from council , why i cant register or move , i cant really digest. My mrs need to travel or take taxi every time to go to other surgery 3 miles away .

For some reason you can't book a face to face appointment, you have to have a phone appointment first. The problem is that when I book a phone appointment, it's normally a whole week away before the doctor can phone me. Then when they do say to come in after your phone appointment, it yet another week to wait before you can see anyone. If you're worried about a health problem, two weeks is a long time to wait. This place has really gone downhill since COVID. Very badly managed.

Also you can't book a appointment online like most other surgeries.

Feel blessed to be a patient of this practice. The receptionists are always friendly, helpful and polite. You can get an appointment when you need one. The doctors are great, spend time with you and listen.

Great practice! Reception do an amazing job and are friendly, welcoming and courteous. When I phoned previously, I was told a Dr would call me back and Dr Chakraborty called me back within 15 minutes. At my appointment yesterday again I cannot fault the care given and Nurse Laura Potter was friendly and reassuring during my appointment. I've only recently registered as a patient here after moving to the area but so far have been impressed with the level of care and service. Thank you to all of the team there!

EXEMPLARY GENERAL PRACTICE THAT IS A MODEL OF HOW THE NHS SHOULD WORK. I've been registered at five practices in different parts of the UK in my life and this is by far the best. In the 18 months I've been here, all the staff - doctors, receptionists, nurses, practice manager - have gone out of their way to deal with a range of needs (from precautionary or routine testing to illness, hospital referral, repeat prescriptions and vaccine delivery). They've done it with courtesy & kindness as well as professional expertise, and I've had prompt responses, with phone calls or face to face consultations when required. I wish I could name every person that works at Oakfield Surgery! You are all valued.

I have been having several health issues for the past year and I appreciate the service from this GP. I moved from London where the GP services are not as quick as Aylesbury. I am usually called back on the day. The AskFirst app is brilliant. Dr Chakraborty is a great listener & is commited to finding solutions.
Receptionists are sweet & deserve praise for their client care.

Not amused.

I have mental health issues and have finally been convinced by others to go seek help.

Unfortunately, living alone as I do, it is often difficult to get the enthusiasm to leave the house to do anything other than the most menial of tasks.

So, when I finally got it together enough to get a doctor's appointment I expected to be treated well..

I was not.

First, as I was walking past the surgery on my way to a supermarket, I thought I'd drop in & make the appointment.

I was told that I'd have to phone them.

1) As I have told that surgery many times in the past, I have a phobia of phone calls, it's not common, but I have it.

2) I was actually stood in the surgery! Why was I told to phone them when I was physically there?

Second.

When I was called back by a doctor (can't recall his name), I started to talk about the issues of mental health I have, and he just cut me down by telling me I need to speak to healthy minds.

A place I was with many moons ago and we're absolutely useless (as I pointed out on the phone call).

I have other issues I needed to talk about, physical issues, but I wasn't allowed to get my point across after I mentioned mental health.

In short, I will be looking at other surgeries in the area, because this is just another complaint in a long, long list of issues I've had over the years.
