Service is just so poorly. They treat poorly very ill people with not priority. You go, you got seen, have some infections and told you need to get antibiotics but then antibiotics won’t be ready for you till 6-8 hours later which you lost a day poorly and I’ll without getting any better but worse, just because they don’t prioritise the appt and get things sorted at time you are seeing someone or at least as the person leaves. To me that sounds ridiculous!
When I call reception, Erica wasn’t even willing to help, she didn’t even has the initiative to try to say let me try to see what I can do she directly was saying she won’t be able to help and that I need it wait longer till prescription is ready.
Poor service!!

While trying to phone for an appointment the answer phone message goes on and on about booking an appointment with the app. You go on the app and it says there are no appointments released by the surgery at present! What a wonderful use of technology!

Receptionists are rude - attitude is clear when they eventually answer the phone, constantly sighing.
Doctors have no interest in providing assistance - doesn't matter what you go in for, the response will be to give you pills or provide information from Google rather than actually look into medical issues.

Honestly I recently joined a while ago due to moving house. My godmother joined recently too due to not getting any help with her menopause and they have done more for her than anyone else has. They've also been absolutely wonderful to me and helped me get through a lot of stuff I never went to the dr's about as a child. The receptionists are very understanding and helpful especially with the amount of times I've phoned up or forgotten about things.

Rang surgery at 8.30 this morning and was told that there was no appointments to go to pharmacy or walking I've got arthritis and copd so it takes less alot to go out. So my husband went up the surgery to make me a appointment for the next available one and he was told to ring at 8 in the morning they said they didn't give out appointments

Call surgery today 19 th February at 10.55 to make two appointments the receptionist was extremely rude in my opinion she needs more training to talk with respect . I have been in this surgery since this been open I never ever been spoken like it .

Service is poor. I always have to wait so long to be seen, despite arriving promptly for my appointment. Today they held a new record by leaving me waiting 45 minutes. When I finally got in to see the doctor there was no apology for the delay or anything. When I told her how long I waited she explained that some appointments overrun etc but for 45 minutes you could at least have the courtesy to tell me you’re running late or apologise at the very least. They have no respect for people’s time, I’m incredibly disappointed.

I just wanted to big up Oakfield Health Centre. While there are some frustrating aspects to the surgery, I’m lucky I can easily call into the doctors personally to make an appointment. The staff have always been really friendly and helpful to me. We dealt with Zoe this week, who is a clinical practitioner. She provided some timely advice for my elderly dad and he’s now back on the road to recovery.
