I’ve just finished a block of 10 sessions with Jess, ending on my 39th week of pregnancy! Jess’s gentle approach has made me feel really confident and safe exercising all the way through my third trimester and helped me prepare for the physical challenges of giving birth and being a mum. Each week Jess listens to how I’ve been feeling and tailors accordingly, always ensuring to adapt exercising to my changing pregnant body. I’ve had a great time and would highly recommend her to anyone. I hope to be back soon!

This is my first experience with a PT and Jess made me feel so comfortable from day one. My confidence has grown each session and I always leave Jess smiling and feeling proud of myself. I never thought I would look forward to exercise! Jess has completely changed my outlook on exercise and the way I view my body and health.

I have just completed my 40th session and have seen a massive improvement in my stamina and strength. It has even given me the confidence to do other exercise.

Jess is very knowledgable and always makes sure I do the correct things for my body and my ability. The exercises are varied and Jess explains the reason for each one, telling me ways to improve. She has even made lunges fun (who would have thought!).

Jess is flexible and understands the life of a mum, moving sessions to fit in with my busy schedule.

Jess helped me on my pregnancy journey to achieve my goals and regain strength that I had lost throughout the IVF process by working on my core, breathing techniques, posture to avoid injuries and also worked around my pregnancy symptoms. Jess always kept it interesting and fun by mixing up the exercises and weight training, ensured everything
was safe for my pregnancy and also corrected my position so I didn’t put too much strain on my body and my recovery was quick. It inspired me to order my own equipment at home which I will continue to work on the videos that Jess created for me. I now feel strong, prepared and ready for the birth and have a plan for post natal workout to recover quickly. Not only is Jess an amazing PT instructor, she has also been very supportive, positive and encouraging throughout my journey, giving me tips and advice along the way and lending me a book. I feel like I got so much more out of the experience and I can’t recommend Jess enough if you want to feel empowered and good in yourself again no matter what your goals are. My husband has noticed a massive difference in my well-being, he’s noticed i’m happy and calm and been able to deal with an problems much better and my friends, colleagues and midwives all noticed how i’m carrying my pregnancy really well and not had many aches or pains due to my body being strong and having more energy.

Also, Jess tailored some of
the exercises to make them more relevant to the real life things I would be doing once the baby arrives for example such as carrying and lifting the car seat, how to bend down correctly and lifting weight up without hurting my back and ensuring my core was engaged and pulled in to avoid injury in the future.

I started Bodytone, class with Jess in Summer and it has been a great experience. Jess is knowledgable and focuses on whole body strength, balance and coordination, with just the right level of challenge. I have loved every session with Jess and I could not be more surprised to be writing this, considering where I started. Jess has enabled me to achieve fitness goals I would not have thought possible before I finally took the plunge, after years of counting myself out of exercise. Jess is gentle but encouraging. I love my PT sessions with Jess! I was anxious around exercising having never really enjoyed it or stuck at it previously, but I wanted to start weight training after being diagnosed with pcos and being recommended low intensity exercise in order to get healthier. Thanks to Jess’ encouraging, friendly and gentle approach I have now been consistently exercising for the last 9 months and am feeling so much happier and healthier and have seen massive improvements in my pcos symptoms. I feel like this is all thanks to Jess’ kind and caring approach and her making the sessions so enjoyable and basing them off how I am feeling each week to get the best out of me. Jess’ studio is also a really comfortable safe space to work out in if the thought of a gym makes you anxious. I couldn’t recommend Jess more highly!
