Nurseplus is a good company to work for if you enjoy meeting people on a day to day basis.I go to the same people most days so have built up a good raport with them which is lovely. The work is very varied. My week consists of getting people showered and dressed,taking someone shopping,sitting with someone whilst their full-time carer has a break and sitting and having a chat and a cuppa with someone who doesn't see many people during the week.
This is a very flexible career.I work the hours I want but have the option to work more every week if I want extra money. Holidays can be taken when you want too,if there's availability. The only down side is the lowish hourly rate, although it's improved as we have just had a payrise. We don't currently get mileage money, which would help,especially at the moment.
Over all I would recommend working for Nurseplus.

I can honestly say that working for Nurseplus is a complete pleasure. I have been working for them for nearly 4 years now. The office staff are always there for you if needed and the support is always there. All the carers that work for them are lovely and enjoy working with them when on double ups. If you are looking to become a carer then Nurseplus is the place to be.

I've been with the company for four years.
Office staff are very friendly and supportive. As a mother of young kids, I always choose the hours and I do get them with good pay.
Training is very efficient and is not only beneficial to the clients but yourself.

I've been using this service for the past 7 months and I could not recommend more. My mother has carers 3 times a day care and each time the care and professionalism is remarkable. They treat her with dignity and respect at all times and the care they give mum is genuine. Mum can be difficult at times with dementia but they take time to explain to her why they are there and the process ( personal care etc) and let her process what's going on. Although they have a tight schedule, they don't rush mum and they take their time. They always make mum feel safe and happy when they leave.Thank you so much for all your hard work and keeping mum safe over the past few months.

I did live in care for the first time last week. Nurse plus were amazing. I was so nervous but I was on the phone with the office and they calmed me down and made me feel so much better and help me so much I had an amazing experience and nurse was amazing supporting me the whole time
