Seems like ok facilities, staff wasting their lives on pointless rules. I was unable to use the treadmill with no top on despite the conditions being too warm in the gym. Jack a member of staff then watched me get changed, very odd. However this was an instruction from his superior Amanda H. - duty manager who was probably the least appropriate in terms of manners. If the owner Rob would like to reach out to me to settle this complaint I'd be more than happy to oblidge... 0/5

Negatives: sweaty men coming out the sauna / steam room without showering, getting straight into the swimming pool. Gross. Seriously, gross. Pool attendants I beg you - ask these men to leave when you see them do this. There’s a “shower before pool” rule written on the wall, and for very good reason.

A lot of kids, often shouting and screaming. Changing rooms can feel like a nursery at times with so many people bringing children to the gym. I couldn’t use the hair dryers or even get into that part of the changing rooms this week due to 7 children being sat at the stations at the same time, being put into pyjamas, with parents and siblings filling up the remaining floor space. I would really advocate for child free days or increased times when it is adults only.

Boys well over the age of 7 in the women’s changing rooms (7 is the rule according to the gym). Sometimes it is very uncomfortable when children being curious as they are, stare as you try to get changed. Even in the adults only section. I’ve had a child stand in the shower corridor watching me.

Can be hard to get into classes, have to be ready at 7am and book as they are released, a week in advance.

Ongoing issues with login from the wellhub sign up route. I cannot access the Nuffield app to book classes at all. Seems a common issue where the accounts do not sync up, so much so the helpful staff have a bag full of printed pieces of paper with the phone number for “account issues”!

The interior is getting pretty worn and grotty.

Positives: always see the two cleaners in the ladies area, and they do a great job keeping on top of things. One of the main reasons I stay here is the cleanliness which is entirely down to these staff. Other staff also come across very helpful and friendly.

The classes I have attended were excellent. Love Freya’s yoga class, perfect balance of being accessible whilst adding some challenging elements as well.

Separate kids pool prevents too many issues with over crowding.

Summary: generally it’s a good gym, good classes, a bit over priced but very convenient for me. Just a shame some members have no sense of hygiene, and others seem to use it primarily as a dressing room for their often unattended kids.

Unfortunately, our family has encountered several issues trying to enjoy the facilities at the gym.

For reasons that were not communicated to us, the gym manager decided that children aged 8 are no longer allowed to use the crèche service. We were not informed of this change and continued to book the space at reception as we normally would.

The following week, when we arrived to drop off our daughter, the crèche manager confronted us in front of her and other parents, stating that she was no longer welcome. The situation was both embarrassing and upsetting, as it felt like we were being accused of wrongdoing when we had simply followed the usual process.

After this incident, we attempted to bring our daughter with us to the gym while we trained, but she was asked to leave the space, which left her in tears and deeply embarrassed. When we approached the gym manager to ask what options were available for our daughter while we attended classes, we were shocked by the response: we were told we could leave her alone in the reception area—an open space accessible to anyone.

As a family-oriented gym, this approach is not only unacceptable but also raises serious concerns about child safety and customer care. If you’re a family considering joining a gym in the Warwick area, I would strongly advise against Nuffield. We sincerely hope a competitor will step in to offer a more family-friendly and professional service.

This experience has been extremely disappointing, and our daughter is still feeling very upset. No family should have to go through this kind of treatment.

Pool area I'd full of dirty people who use the pool as a dunk pool for thr sauna. Last time I went the water so dirty and had a slightly salty taste to it. Combined about jt and then two weeks later my membership was canceled for no reason at all. My friend has been trying to cancel for months as he was fed up with the school children pool staff not doing thier jobs ever and just staring at thier hands when people acted like pigs infront of them and they refused to cancel his contact. All in all for £110 a month th it's a joke. The only conversation you ever have with other members is how horrible the place has become. Going back to pure

Last thing to note the manager Craig I think his name is is one of the rudest most lazy mangers iv ever known. I feel luke most of the issues would disappear along with him if he was to be let go.

The only thing I didn't like so far is to see people wearing outdoor shoes next to the children swimming pool - don't think this is ok.

Also people coming out of the sauna, full of sweat and going straight into the swimming pool without having a quick shower first.

This happened while the staff was around - I think staff should pay more attention and not tolerate this.

This place back in Feb was beautiful. I'd never seen a gym so clean and been constantly maintained to stay as so. 6 months later and I'm throwing up in the showers because the smell of rotten eggs and poo is so strong I couldn't finish showering. Constant kids screaming at the top of thier lungs and the parents do nothing to calm them down or to lower thier volume like its a play area. The changing rooms are filthy now. Orange peel all over the place, guys cleaning out thier sinuses and spitting thier phlegm onto the shower floors (this is constant and they make no effort to hide it the dirty sods) the staff don't day anything to them even tho it's a Major health risk to everyone else. I'm seeing people come strait out the sauna/steam room and jumping into the pool without showering infornt of staff member who dont say anything and just keep playing with thier finger nails. The pool is split into 4 lanes by ability but you get Hugh old dudes going into the swimming lanes and just walk laps making it impossible for anyone else to use that lane while the pool next door is empty. I dont want people to think the all the pool dtaff are lazy as there are a few who actually call people out for been slobs and pigs buts only 3 staff members. All in all for £100 a month this place is no long worth the price. There used to be 2 cleaners in the changing room at all times as wrll as a jacuzzi. Both those things are gone now but it's still £100 a month. I do t recommend this place to people now

Fantastic gym. A little more expensive than others, but in my opinion well worth it.
Poolside is beautiful. Great for the kids with the Crèche and junior classes they provide (all included in my kids membership). Gym can be busy after work, but has more than enough kit, I’ve never not managed to get a workout in.
Classes are great too, and there’s so many!!
