Used to be good, now seriously declining. One star. I've been a member here for more than 2 years and have watched this place go downhill. They raise the prices every year, but the facility is falling apart.

Hygiene is a major issue: The showers consistently smell bad, and the general cleanliness around the gym is poor (check my photos).

Constant maintenance problems: The steam room is broken more often than it works (at least once a month). The men's changing room is also frequently closed for repairs. There's a noticeable leak in the roof that hasn't been fixed.

Recent Incidents:
* December 22nd: The pool was closed in the morning because the lifeguard didn't come to work! Unacceptable.
* December 23rd: The website says they're open regular hours today, but they just told me they're closing early at 8 pm. This is misleading and inconvenient.

Bottom line: This gym is not worth the money anymore. Management needs to seriously address the hygiene, maintenance, and staffing issues. I'm considering canceling my membership.

This review is for one of your managers Jacob Didcock. I like to say how lovely he has been and he has been absolutely amazing with me. He took me for who I was and didn’t make me feel like I was worthless burden like the rest of the staff and managers did. Jacob you are a star and a credit to the company. Please keep up the amazing work Jacob.

Your receptions judge me and made me feel like I didn’t belong here and I got made to feel like was scum. I even got bullied by member of staff and she still works here. There are some nasty people that work here. Don’t waste your money here please avoid

Before joining the Didsbury branch, make sure you’re fully aware of what you’re signing up for. Once you sign the contract, you’re locked in and have to bear all the frustrations that come with it.

I’ve been a member at the Didsbury branch for a while, but I’m really disappointed with how management prioritizes profit over member satisfaction.

Recently, they canceled the Monday evening Functional Training session, which was extremely popular and always fully booked, often with a waiting list of 10-20 people. Instead of replacing it with a similar class on another day, they’ve used the same time slot and venue for chargeable group sessions.

Didsbury is supposed to be a higher-tier gym with more expensive memberships compared to other branches like Bolton, Manchester Printworks, or Preston. The justification for the higher fees is supposed to be better facilities and more classes. However, similar classes that are included in the membership at other branches are turned into paid sessions at Didsbury. This is completely unacceptable. Then why should I pay higher-tier membership fees if I still have to pay extra for classes? It is crazy.

It feels like management is more focused on squeezing every penny out of members rather than providing a good experience. Cancelling such a popular session without offering an alternative is ridiculous and shows a lack of consideration for loyal members.

This center desperately needs better customer service and engagement training. The manager, Alex, is extremely rude, and I now avoid coming here because his attitude makes me feel so uncomfortable.
I also don’t recommend this center for other reasons: The kids’ pool is almost always closed, The adult pool frequently has issues, The showers smell terrible, The gym is dirty. On top of that, staff members like Alex ruin the overall experience. I strongly advise against buying a membership here!

As a working space, the Nu Kitchen is ideal. Plenty of workstations with plugs, WiFi is easy to access and decent; mostly though, the staff in the kitchen are lovely. In particularly Arash and Sarran who were attentive, friendly and professional throughout. The food was tasty and healthy too, with kcals listed for those wanting to track. Really enjoyable visit

I would highly recommend you avoid signing up to this place. It needs a massive overall and new/more equipment (and a change of layout!). They are always running out of sanitising wipes - which of course is concerning. They’re also only open till 8pm during weekends, which shows that they care more about the staff vs their paying members. Most people don’t bother with the pool/sauna/stream room facilities, or classes so they should offer a membership to accommodate those who are only there for the gym and nothing else , since £80 is a ripoff for the little in return you’re getting. No need for a copy & paste response from the Nuffield management please.

I’ve attended Didsbury Nuffield Physio periodically over the last few years.
I see Tzensila Fezoliou for treatment.
I’ve never had such a skilled, knowledgeable, empathetic, caring and supportive physiotherapist .
I visited recently in a very distressed state due to back pain and left calm, confident and in a lot less pain. I think Tzensila is a ‘miracle worker’
I wouldn’t go to any other physiotherapist.
I’ll certainly be recommending Nuffield Didsbury Physio Team to everyone.
Thanks also to the lovely reception staff member Jenny who helped facilitate my recent appointment.
