Turning to self funded private health care wasn’t an easy decision but I’m am so pleased I did. Mr Halder, my consultant/ surgeon was professional and I’ve felt confident in him every step of my journey to hysterectomy. All the staff were so kind, from the anaesthetists trying to calm me before surgery and the nurses were just all so lovely and seemed to enjoy their jobs which makes you feel comfortable and never too much trouble. My private room was clean, really comfortable and spacious and there was just a nice sense of calm and quiet , felt like I was in a retreat! . My husband was able to order food so we could eat together and he could stay 8-8. I’m home resting but feel confident knowing they are all at the end of the phone if I need anything. A big thanks to everyone, I’ve left feeling great and well looked after.

Michelle and her team were incredible when we brought our newborn daughter in for Tongue Tie with the amazing Mr Jonas. Ali and Sally the two nurses looked after us so well as we were nervous and worried. Thank you to the whole team for such lovely care and professionalism.

The staff here are amasing and looked after me extremely well. The room’s are spacious and the facilities are excellent.

My only minor gripe is the quality of the WiFi. It’s pretty slow, the signal isn’t great and it was impossible to connect a VPN so I could work. I would have expected it to be much better.

I came into Nuffield Cambridge today to have the metalwork removed by Mr Melton a year after having a High Tibial Osteotomy.

10 out of 10 experience.

From start to finish the experience was as good it gets. I was attended to in my room by my nurse Sam Jolliffe. She explained everything to me and made me feel at ease from the outset - I knew I was in good hands. The room itself feels new, very spacious and very quiet. One by one each member of staff who would be in the operating theatre with me came in and explained what would be happening- before I knew it I was led down to theatre and once in the theatre the staff were excellent explaining everything and making me feel at ease. Post theatre I saw physio, had lunch, looked after by nurse and then just had my coffee brought to me by an amazing lady called Sheila - 80 years old and still working two days a week - what a lady!!

A big thanks to nurse Sue - outstanding job.

If you want a 5star experience in a 5 star hospital with 5 star staff then goto Nuffield Cambridge - I couldn't have had a better experience for a painful operation!

The staff, as always, were friendly, kind and helpful. My only niggle was that both of the client coffee machines were out of order. I would take a * off for this but the lovely nursing staff took drink orders for the entire waiting room and even provided biscuits too!
