Me and my ankle (pretty much smashed, according to the surgeon) have had excellent care from this company.

From the initial assessment in January, to the Carer who has just been in, the service has been superb.

All the Carers have been very efficient, and are extremely good company. Which is important, as I have not been able to leave our flat, except for hospital visits. So they have been a great support for my mental health.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Novus Care.

I have had Carers from Novus in Watford for some weeks. Initially this was because I was stuck in a wheelchair, with a fractured ankle, in addition to my chronic ill health conditions.

But as my leg improved, and this my mobility, the focus moved to supporting my emotional/mental wellbeing.

My wife had been extremely unwell in hospital with what was a life threatening condition (from New Year's Day until Easter).

The Carers were absolutely superb. They kept me going, with their compassion and humour. Plus doing the practical stuff with which I still struggled. They made good friends with our cockatiels as well....

It feels sad that I no longer need them, and if I could find an excuse to see them still I would.

The 'duty persons' in the office are very friendly, and they coped admirably with my last minute changes of visiting times.

I can heartily recommend Novus as providers of care in ones home.

Novus care is the worst company we have ever deal with, it was a nightmare. there staff they don’t know what they doing, there are not trained very well to look after vulnerable old people, they can’t even look after an animal, carers are very rude not very clean they leave the house in such a big mess after the house it was left in a good condition and leaving my mother who is bed bound in a bad position in bed, plus they are scammers coming to the house for lunch visit while they know that my mother she is at the hospital, and I have stop them in front of the door saying that mum she still at the hospital she is not back yet and you guys know about it….they say ohhh ok, I said we will let you know when she is back, and then they ask if they can coming inside just to made a phone call but the reason they wanted to get in to the house is to scan the QR code to made there payment rise for doing nothing , the lounge camera catch them scanning the QR code as soon as I turned my back, they are lier , taking advantage of people, i really feel sorry for those old people who has no body to check on them.
Do not trust them to look after your loved ones.
Am glad we get rid of you Novus care and if I could I will not get you even 1 star because you don’t deserve it .

I started with Novus care 6 months ago. This was my first ever care job and I was very nervous. I received lots of support from the office team, managers, and training manager, I felt ready to take on the role. Feeling quite nervous I always felt I could call the office team, coordinators and managers and get any help I needed. I am very happy here and absolutely love my job! Emma 🙂

Do Not use this Care Company! Safe Guarding issues! Will not look after your loved one very well. Many problems with this company who where putting my Mother at risk. Glad to see the back of them!!

Novus look after my 89 year old mum and have done for about 4 years now. I CANNOT say enough about these people. They are loving and caring and give the very best personal care to her. Not just medical care but the kind of personal care a family member would offer. They are diligent and conscientious in their employed duties, but their efforts and care in giving my mum a fulfilled life is so far above and beyond, it fills my heart. I don't live locally, and their communication is phenomenal. I trust each and every carer as if they were family. Like I said, I can't say enough.

Novus Care, Watford, were fantastic in helping us care for my mother-in-law. Their prices were very reasonable and they were very generous in their response to the only query we had on one of their invoices. The staff were excellent and dealt sympathetically with Fran no matter how challenging her behaviour became at times. We were also very pleased that they ALWAYS covered every shift that we booked, irrespective of any staff absences.

Novus have been helping to look after my dad following a hip and shoulder fracture. The carers have been professional, friendly and attentive.
