Bloody awful, if like me and thousands of other locals you have to work for a living or get children to school the chance of getting an appointment is zero. The e consultation opens at 8.30 and I done by 9. Exactly the the time people are either getting into work or getting kids into school. I have lost count of how many times I have tried and failed to get an appointment for something I feel getting progressively worse. I also wanted a healthy heart check up and prostate check so went in and asked for an appointment. The receptionist told me this could not be offered as they were not taking booking due to staffing problems. No preventative services at all and the systems discriminates against working people. If it's an e consultation form it could easily be opened at 7 so that pople can complete it over breakfast rather than the ridiculous time of 8.30.

Would love to give zero stars, but can't, so one will have to do. I think the only way this place could be worse is if they actively tried to make you ill.

It's almost impossible to actually see a doctor - the brief window of 'econsults' is a lottery - even if it's open when you log on, can you fill it in before it closes!? Chances are slim.

Even something as simple as getting a blood test done soon turns into a complete farce. Long term health conditions and serious illnesses are mis-managed and left to worsen.

I know the NHS is underfunded and overstretched, but it's almost impressive how badly run Norton Medical Centre is. Even their announcements system is rubbish - it says "drive" instead of "Doctor" for Dr... which pretty much sums up the ineptitude of this place.

When we registered our baby there, they lost the forms (including a copy of their birth certificate) and claimed we'd never handed them in. They've removed medication from prescriptions without discussing with patients. The list of misdemeanours is endless.

My doctor here basically caused me to have a mental breakdown after giving me a diagnosis with basically zero information on treatment causing an anxiety spiral that my private therapist and doctors are still trying to help me resolve, obviously at my own expense. Quality of care is appalling, admittedly I did get same day appointment every time I tried though which is a huge improvement on where this practice used to be.

Excellent. E consultation 8.30am, rang at 8.45 with an appointment for 9.50am now at hospital awaiting a scan. Great fast and friendly service. Thank you Norton Medical Centre.

I’ve been a patient here since I was born, but became ill when I was 14. The amount of support I received from the GP surgery was, and still is, scarce. With issues surrounding women’s health, it is NOT enough to say “take a paracetamol or ibuprofen and get on with it”. It is not enough to say to a child using NHS mental health services “have a cup of tea and a bath and you’ll be fine”. We are not failing ourselves with what we’re trying to do to get better, we are being failed by our GP surgeries. There have been multiple times when I, or a family member, have gone to see the receptionist to request a repeat prescription and nobody was manning the desk.

The only way to request an appointment is via an ‘e consultation’ that is open from 8:30. It closed at 9 today so a 30 minute window. They refuse to make appointments by phone. The e consultation doesn’t even guarantee an appointment, they decide if you ‘need’ one based off what you submit. Staff seem totally indifferent.

Had a scan at the hospital, told my doctor would contact me, 3 weeks later and still no contact. Finally managed to make an appointment through the system that only works for somebody not employed. After an hour of waiting was told my doctor was running late and they couldn't say when I'd be seen, receptionist had a face on when I told her to cancel it and walked out. No explanation or apology why I'd just wasted 3 hours wages for nothing. Disgraceful. This place needs closing and I'm never going back there.

I have periods of cluster headaches. Anyone who has had one will know there are extremely painful. Usually 9/10. I am prescribed nasal spray. At this moment in time I am having a run of bad headaches. The prescription is for 1 or 2 sprays a day. I ordered some only to be told. That they can't be prescribed for another 3 days as they are prescribed fortnightly. 18days after I last had them. 6 sprays over 2 weeks dies not equate to 1 or 2 a day. I asked for a gp call back. And this has been arranged for 7 days time. I called my surgery who said they will send a note to my hp. Nothing happened. On another not on my wife's notes on line. It states that she has had a stroke that she had not. Cqc has given them a poor rating. I wonder why. Appalling treatment
