Absolutely awful. After multiple clashes with multiple therapists I genuinely believe I had one of the worst. This therapist was supposed to put me on a waiting list for a under 18 gender clinic at 15. We both agreed that it would be in my best interest. Well, nearly 5 years later I'm approaching 20 and recently reached out to my GP about my declining mental health again. She has done more in the past 10 days then that therapist done in 12 weeks. Today I mentioned my therapist here put me on the waiting list for the GC. And wondered if it was something she could chase up. After a look through my medical records, we found that no such referral was made. I waited nearly 5 years only to find out this therapist did not care about my best interest. And now, almost 20, I need to start my medical transition when others around me started testosterone at this age. Absolutely ridiculous. It sounds small. But this seriously has thrown my whole life and medical transition off course.
