I tried to make an appointment for my son, I tried phoning after 20 min waiting I decided just to go in, I asked to make an appointment for my 3 year old and was told I need to ring at 8 and 1 because appointment are for that day. Obviously, someone who works full time this is no good. When you do ring all appointments are gone because someone either has a cold or Ethel's bunions are playing up. I am changing doctors to one that allows appointments to be booked in advance, like the good old days when doctors saw more than 5 patients a day.

Phoned to make an appointment at Ingol Health Centre on 6 Feb. Joined the queue at No 6, 1 hour later I was next to get through (1) to then have automated voice tell me the queue is full, try again later and call ended. Curiosity got me and wondered if this was right called again. Joined the queue at No 6 and exact same thing happened down to the time in between moving up the queue. Can only assume this is a human setting the phone lines to ensure stats are good. Shocking service. It annoys me enough that I have to physically go in to get a repeat prescription because they won’t do it over the phone now this. Photo added to show 2hrs of wasted time.

Avoid. You have more chance seeing Lord Lucan riding shergar across Haslam Park than getting an appointment here. If you are lucky to:
A. Get a response on the phone and
B. Manage to actually get an appointment the chances are it will be cancelled at short notice.
Extremely rude reception staff who posses no customer service skills whatsoever. Overall a very poor patient experience. Look elsewhere.

I called for an urgent appointment for my sick 1 year old. I was the 12th in the line when the appointments opened at 1pm. I had been waiting for 90 minutes, and had been “next in line” for 10 minutes when my call was abruptly ended by the machine saying “the queue is currently full”. I called back immediately and was told I was the 9th in line.
This is simply unacceptable and not civilized.
First, you don’t know why I was calling (i.e for an appointment or not), so even if you run out of appointments, you still should take my call.
Second, it’s me paying for my mobile bill, so please, let me decide how long I want to stay in the queue.
It’s unfair that I get kicked out after waiting 90 minutes, still you allow new callers join the queue - as you see above I immediately could rejoin the queue, so how do you justify that I had to lose my next in line position?

Over the past 26 years I have received excellent support from the Ingol surgery for a variety of problems and have benefited greatly from my interactions with all staff, from the reception to clinical teams. Nothing seems to too much of a problem and it’s fair to say they have kept me on the right path - despite my wandering away on occasions! Greatly appreciate all this practice has done for me. Thanks!

Went in to the doctors this afternoon to make my daughter an appointment, after already ringing 3x times in the morning to get through! Joke! The reception staff where very rude to me, I hadn't been in since the re vamp and didn't know where to go, she said what to me, what- I just looked at her and said wow! I'd just like to make my daughter an appointment pls, she then said other window and looked away from me! I went to the next window to make the appointment and the next lady was rude to me too, like they couldn't be bothered, im sorry but your front house and the first thing people see are you, so you all need to learn some new manners...

I've seen the in-house pharmacist at ingol surgery a couple of times now. I have to say this young man is so lovely and patient. He listens to you, makes sure everything is ok on your medical record. If you can't get in to see your Dr and it's nothing too personal go to see this lovely man. In-house pharmacist ingol surgery..
