I moved to this practice in March after moving into the area and I've had nothing but positive experiences here so far. Reception staff have always been friendly and helpful over the telephone and in person, and the clinicians have been great too. I've had a lot of blood tests over the years and clinicians have always seemed to have difficulty with me, but Mrs Katrina Davies performed the simplest and quickest blood test I've ever had. It was over in less than a minute. Dr Parish listens to your concerns and escalates them to the resolution you need promptly. They experience the same issues as any practice in this country with lack of appointments, but at no fault of their own.

More callous, and inhuman attitude to themselves I have not seen !completely do not care about people's problems, this is the case in which they should help, namely passing to this hospital with a child, pointing out the acute problem !they got off with the words: go to the Ormskirk.Asking to record the child to the doctor, they said we will send you a text message, in the end sent thank you for your feedback.
The feeling is just terrible after visiting this place!

Joined a few months ago. The best doctors I have ever been to.originally a phone appointment then face to face. Had a few things needing to be investigated and from start to finish 100% attention and care. The receptionists are so lovely and helpful and a huge thank you to a Dr John Stevens who is very caring and efficient.cant fault them at all.

Cannot understand how anybody could give this so called surgery a star at all. It is quite possiby the worst in the counrty. It cannot be called a GP surgery as there are no actual doctors working there. If you make it through the rediculous triage questionare which goes to their other sugery in Skem you may get to see a nurse practitioner. Don't say it's urgent, you will be told to go to A & E. Good advise if you thought you can rely on this shambles for any kind of service? My dog gets a much better treatment at the vets. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible doctors . Me and my family find it impossible to get an appointment, tried everyday for a week and was given every excuse not to have an appointment with a doctor, just told 111 of walk in , the one appointment I did have was told nothing wrong with me, there was a student nurse in the room without being asked if was ok with me! The male doctor seemed more interested in eyeing up the female student. Made me feel like I shouldn’t be there and me me feel uncomfortable about what I wanted to resolve so didn’t bother continuing. My wife having same problems getting appointments. Receptionist very rude and condescending. Stay away from this place!

Been using North Meols medical centre my whole life, in the last 7 years since Beacon Primary care took over it has turned into an awful service and no doubt results in peoples illnesses/issues worsening or even worse. I used to be able to get a same day face to face appointment, I now have to wait 3 weeks for a talk and treat then wait a further week or 2 for an actual face to face appointment regardless of physical or mental illness, my wife's doctor's still do same day face to face so it is possible to maintain that level of service. Staff are becoming more rude no doubt due to number of complaints so not entirely their fault, however the management by Beacon is that all staff are on a training day so there is no-one to answer a phone to organise an appointment, an unacceptable failure from a service Beacon Primary Care is paid to provide. If you have the choice of GP's/Doctor's do not pick a Beacon Primary Care run one.
