111 told me to call and get a ambulance down but I have autism and loud noises strains my ears, I got a Uber and I told the receptionist 111 told me to come down immediately and say it’s ambulance service and that I fallen and really banged my head on concrete probably concussion and the old lady receptionist just said “you ain’t the only one that’s fallen over” I’ve been here 6 hours… 6 hours at the emergency room and nothing… a guy with a sore wrist went first.

Probably the timing, but I attended with my daughter early Sunday morning (8am), and got easy available parking, and we were in and out with X-Ray & 2 doctor chats within 2hours. Really good service. Bring on more funding for our awesome NHS. ?

The consultant that was on shift in the UTC Dept (Urgent Treatment Centre) was exceptional, I'm not 100% sure but im sticking with him introducing himself as Dr Hussain? What a doctor, very caring, listened and understood my issue, very professional in explaining my x-rays in great professional detail. Best consultant (or Dr) I have ever crossed paths with ? So if your ever in A&E and your sent to the UTC dept..then keep your fingers crossed guys that your seen by this Dr Hussain character, U won't be whatsoever disappointed...So cross your fingers peeps?

If I could rate this hospital zero stars I would and the only reason they deserve one star is due to the triage department (the nurse and her colleague) who were very nice and empathetic.
The waiting time was as I expected, the nurses don't care about the patients waiting to see the Doctors at all.The Doctor who I saw was very rude and uncaring and didn't treat me with respect his attitude was appalling for a Doctor to show such lack of care ,kept trying to fob me off with painkillers.
The health care system needs a total revamp .

Just to say thanks for the excellent service today! Attended with 2 fractures to my ankle and foot - was seen, x-rayed and boot fitted in 2 hours. All staff doctors, radiologists, receptionists were professional and lovely! Place was spotless - genuinely, thank you and well done!

The worst a&e department I’ve ever gone to. Waited a total of 6 hours before being told they couldn’t do anything for me.
First two ours waited and then told to go wait in a different department. Two more hours later, that new department closed (after hearing two nurses saying, ‘do you want to see another patient before we close, there’s time’ ‘nah I’ve seen the important ones’) and I was told to come and try again tomorrow (wouldn’t be possible so I asked if I could wait), was told “I mean you can just go see your GP” before being told I could join a new list and wait a bit longer to be seen by someone else. Once again, two more hours passed before I was called into a room. I explained my problem and it took him 10 minutes to even look at my eye which was giving me trouble. He poked at my eye for a few minutes (as I’m writing this I’m still stuck with horrible eye pain from how heavy handed he was) before telling me he couldn’t help me because he, and I quote “doesn’t know anything about eyes”. Asked if there was someone else I could see and he laughed at me (whilst I was crying) and said “maybe I don’t know. Go outside and wait and see”. Whilst in tears I shouldn’t have to be laughed at by a medical professional because he claims to not even know if I have conjunctivitis or not.
