Keep this is mind since i had to wait over 6 weeks to be told this.
This service does NOT offer 1 on 1 CBT unless you complete 6 weeks of online group sessions.
I think its terrible this is not explained from the outset as I was assessed initially for over an hour being asked some extremely personal questions, and not receiving the support i was expecting.
If people are willing to wait over 5-6 weeks to get the help they need after going through another 6 weeks of group zoom sessions then by all means sign up.
But personally i am extremely dissapointed with this service, highly recommend Richmond Mind instead as they offer pretty much immediate support amongst other things.

It is a waste of time. The doctor does not provide any feedback after long conversations where you feel exhausted because you are asked about very painful and private experiences and at the end, you are not provided with feedback, advice or any help. You end up tired and feeling worse. Then they send you for a group session, that is lead for people who learnt very well the same script, they say to everybody the same sentences again and again. It looks like a theather play. And the only really professional person is removed from the sessions, then you are “guided” by people who are just reading a booklet you were given in advanced. It is so boring and a waste of time. During the sessions, they ignore you, do not answer questions. Those people who led most of the therapy group do not have degrees in psychology, just short courses and short time fast certificates: not really what it is required for this field of health. When you finish that, there is not feedback, not any follow up, nothing. I do not recommend this place.

I’m not sure what the other reviewers were hoping to get from a FREE service.. I originally come from a country where nothing like this exists and folk here have no idea how blessed they are to have something like this available to them. Seriously.
The help and service I’ve experienced (for a family member) has been fantastic!.. I’ve been blown away by the number of phone calls to check up on how my family member is doing. Thank you so much to everyone.

Referred to them twice for support in the last year by my GP. Absolutely abysmal experience both times. Person-centred is a word which does not exist in their vocabulary. Group based virtual CBT, or nothing, is all they were prepared to offer, even though it was clearly not relevant to what I need support around. ‘Signposted’ aka told to go and pay elsewhere if I want real support. Happy to receive funding and report to commissioners the number of people they’ve ‘supported’, with cap in hand for more money. Absolute disgrace of a service.

We visited with our adult son who has loss of memory . The lady at the reception was very rude as he was hesitant about the name of the person he was meant to see. She asked him to wait while she was busy . 5 mins later she comes to the reception counter with a bowl of porridge and a banana .
The mental health nurse reminds me of a secretary in a high court who takes notes after asking us a set of pre phrased questions . There has hardly been any interaction. After requesting for a screening tool kit , she managed to give him a screening test to complete . When I did inquire about seeing the Psychiatrist , we were told we will not be seeing the Psychiatrist as he is very busy managing huge numbers of patients . We were stunned with her reply as we have been waiting patiently for this referral and to this date we have not received a diagnosis . We definitely don’t intend spending any more time in this place and wish to take the matter forward .
I would not recommend this service to anyone

Avoid this place: they put callers through assessments only for it to be revealed at the end that they only offer online group seminars. The page on their website about therapies they offer has been removed, because they have none. Anyone approaching them in trouble or distress is likely to come away in despair.

I just called after getting suggestion from my best ever.helpful doctor to get some help on my issues that I am struggling. First impression when I called, the person/she just rushed me in unrespected form. I gave up even before I register. Very sad. All what I understand is she is just having the job to get paid as she doest have heart to understand people in need of help.
