My wife needed to book an urgent blood test, her GP specifically told her because it said "Urgent" on the form itself she could walk-in to any Blood test centre and be seen the same day. She went to Braintree Livewell Hub and was rudely told she couldn't be seen today because she didn't have a sticker on her form.

This centre should not be in operation if it can't treat it's patients with care.

The receptionists were un-interested, rude and made no effort to understand the situation and then ignored my wife to serve someone else. We spoke with our GP and Livewell customer service who both said they had never heard of a sticker being needed and "Urgent" should have been enough on the form.

There is no phone number available to call them directly (the phone number on the NHS leads to an operating centre who say they do not run this branch, and the phone number the operating centre gave me was just a generic call centre that would not give me a direct phone number for this branch).

Turned away for blood test when we was told by Broomfield it had to be done and was urgent for a surgery. Basildon hospital said their behaviour was 'unacceptable' and have been written a stern email by them. They also lied and said our letter was only valid for the next day when it wasn't and was confirmed by Basildon hospital. - Looking at other reviews on here, it seems that we were not the only one in this situation.

Terrible just terrible.

Attended at 07.20 today for fasting blood test.Test booked for 07.30 ,actually done at about 08.05.I am a very patient person, but there is far too much ‘Coffee and Chit-chat’.
I will book blood test appointments for later in future. The first patient to be seen said ‘Good Luck’ to us all as he left, clearly unimpressed as am I .
Another patient said ‘St.Michaels was much better’ and I concur.
If I receive a parking ticket I will be livid.

If you want to be fobbed off and leave undiagnosed and without treatment this is the place to go. Having been given an appointment for physio by my Dr I was disappointed with the service. I was suffering with serious pains in my lower back and hoped physio may be the answer. Instead I was told to follow the exercises in an email and sent on my way.
Having taken it upon myself to seek private help I am now receiving physiotherapy for the injury. Fasciitis in my foot has been identified as part of the problem as well as an old injury having caused a weakness and subsequent imbalance of the owner back. The treatment I am receiving has helped immensely but I'm questioning why I pay taxes for such an appalling service at this absolute joke of a place. Avoid unless you're looking to be fobbed off by disinterested staff who really couldn't care less as long as they collect a pay cheque each month!

First visit to centre, 1hr 10 mins late into my appointment as receptionist neglected to book my arrival (Seemed disinterested in her role and more interested chatting to her colleague sat next to her, young female with dyed blonde hair tied up in a bun) Lovely building and couldn't fault the nurse.

Parking is impossible. Unless you can be dropped off, don't travel by car.

A modern, clean and spacious NHS building, it looks great and more importantly what an excellent nurse practitioner I met today.
