My partner has been in agonising pain (not controlled with pain killers) and the dentist made (on 12 Feb) an urgent referral to hospital for a tooth extraction.

We phoned for an update today and was told that it would be another 14 WEEKS before an extraction was possible as there is currently a 6 MONTH DELAY for URGENT dental work requiring hospital (in this case Mexborough Montague) treatment, and they were sorry but there was nothing they could do about it. This is disgusting!

I tried calling the CCG and there was no answer.

As the people who are responsible for organising medical care in the area, are you aware of this delay Doncaster CCG?

What would you advise my partner do now?!

Horrendous experience with the CCG for 3 years if these people are supposed to be caring individuals then heaven help us because caring for people is not one of the CCGs strong points take my word for it.
