This gym isn't worth the fee. It's in desperate need of refurbishment. The equipment is shakey at best and broken at worst. The locker room is musty and the lockers are all broken. The staff don't care, as in they would rather be hanging out with their mates on the gym floor than help members on the front desk.
In general, the whole place is dirty and dangerous. Don't bother until they get new staff and renovate.

Some of the reviews put me off but I'm glad I checked it out myself. The best gym option in Potters Bar right now - cheaper than alternatives, doesn't get too crowded, and has everything you need in a gym. Music is actually decent as well - I've found that I don't even listen to my own playlist half the time.

At one point the machine shoulder press had broken but it was completely fixed by the time I came for my next session, so there is good maintenance, contrary to what is implied in other reviews. Not dirty or anything. Would recommend.

Less of a gym, more of a joke. Most of the equipment is broken, Olympic bars bent, weight stacks missing pins, heating on constantly, mushrooms growing on the floor and window ledge, water leaking from ceilings, lights hanging out of sockets. Basically a musty, mouldy, dangerous joke of a gym.

Good gym albeit alot of dated equipment and the venue is in need of some refurbishment. Some items of gym kit will be broken for a long while which considering some machines there are only one of at a time is not acceptable. The staff here make the place, they are always very warm and friendly. Also I'm aware the gym is on what appear to be school grounds so I presume there is some agreement with the school around its students using the gym but on the occasions I have been there with kids present they don't appear to have any knowledge of the equipment they are using and if anything cause obstruction and are constantly messing around. Kids are kids at the end of the day, but this is a gym and paying clients don't want children running around when they are trying to work out.

*edit* having revisited this gym again some months after posting the above review there are the same issues. Mould, leaks and what looks like some sort of growth in the toilets and the equipment very dirty and not maintained. This place is an accident waiting to happen.

Great price. Gym isn't particularly fancy and a little worn out. Leaks in ceiling, lockers broken etc. But im giving it a 5 star review. Because it does what it's supposed to do! All the equipment you need to build muscle, incredibly quiet even in January, nice vibe, members are chilled and friendly. I love going!

Not sure how the gym is still open? It’s absolutely disgusting and filthy, I used to come here everyday and NEVER saw a single person cleaning the gym. Rubbish from week to week would still be on the floor and not picked up. The equipment is dusty and moldey and hardly ever works , the floor is filthy - £35 a month for this gym is disgusting , it makes you wonder where all the money from the memberships is going too , spend a little more and go to a different gym it’s not good for your health to work out in such a disgusting environment - would be zero stars if I could !!

Equipement broken, bars are bent, one of the dirtiest gyms I've been to. Often no soap in bathroom, water fountains either not working or spraying water everywhere, mould in ceilings, uneven floor in squat racks.
