I had a cataract removed yesterday. Everyone at Newmedica were wonderful and extremely caring. I told them that I was very nervous about having the procedure done, and I felt very reassured and looked after by everyone. I strongly recommend Newmedica.

Had my first cataract surgery at Newmedica in Ipswich this past Sunday. I cannot praise the service they provided too highly. The staff worked together seamlessly in a friendly and efficient manner and Mr Hussein and his team undertook the surgery very effectively in just over 10 minutes, communicating well at all stages in the process. From start to finish all was completed in just over an hour. My pre-op anxiety was totally misplaced! Well done to all concerned! Have no hesitation in coming here.

My mother has recieved a cataract operation at this clinic earlier this week. It was particularly worrying as she has been blind in the other eye since birth. I cannot recommend the clinic highly enough as she has come through the op perfectly and was impressed by how professional and caring the staff here were. Mum doesn't use the internet so I will say thank you on her behalf.

I had a cataract removed two weeks ago! Very nervous...but no need to be! The whole experience was really nothing to worry about. The team at Newmedica are just so kind, caring and professional, from the moment you walk through the door. Everything is explained to you and you can comfortably ask any questions! Thank you Mr Usman Hussein, I am getting used to a whole new world of vision and colour.

I had a cataract removed by a lovely lady on 12th of November the staff and surgeon were superb. I then went on the 24th for a post op review although my left eye was due to be operated on. They then told me there had been a cancellation and could carry out the op on that date in 40 minutes, I had taken some diazepan on the first op so was a bit concerned but decided to go ahead. I had my first drops then met the surgeon he said if had he known I had taken diazepan the first time he would not have offered me the cancellation and if I wanted I could go home. His manner was very arrogant and very rude I said I wished to continue he said ok but carried on in a very rude bad tempered manner had this man carried out my first op I would not have gone ahead with the second. I am so disappointed at this service the rest of the staff were again lovely such a shame this man ruined the whole day apparently he was a director and I was very lucky to have him do my treatment, if this is the case his bedside manner and rude arrogant manner needs to be addressed. The man didn’t even say goodbye I cannot tell you how small and insignificant he made me feel. I will definitely not now recommend people to this clinic if the see this man

Well I had cataract treatment on my left eye only a day later and I never been so pleased about something in my life. I would like to thank everyone from the first contact to the actual surgery so so much. The hole staff were excellent and so professional. I am so happy and can't wait to have my right eye done

What a super place to have Cataracts done. Throughout my visits I was kept fully informed of what was going to happen. On the day every step was fully explained, including whilst having the procedure. I received a telephone call the next day to check that all was OK. The care, was absolutely superb. If a rating was needed I would give it 11/10.
