Dear :Sir/Madam
Greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the hardworking and kind staff of the Crisis Team Newcastle, as well as the 111 service. You are compassionate, dedicated angels who patiently respond to those in need. A few nights ago, I was in terrible pain—my head, face, arm, and sciatica were all hurting. I was writhing in agony and complaining to myself until I finally called you. For a moment, I forgot I was on the phone, as my head hurt so much that I kept groaning and talking to myself. But, as always, I was met with patience, kindness, and understanding. The next morning, the emergency services called again, and they spoke to me with great kindness. Sometimes I wonder why we don't see such kind people in everyday life—why do they only seem to be on the other end of a phone? These individuals are a precious gift from the universe. I love and admire all of you as if you were my own family. I am deeply grateful for all your services and support, and I don't know how I could ever repay you. Thank you for your valuable time; I will be forever indebted to you kind souls. Long live Great Britain?❤❤❤.
Yours Faithfully
Babak

Completely pointless service. I phoned a few months ago when I came close to taking my own life. The nurse told me on the phone that they had referred me to an autism charity. After not hearing anything from the autism charity within a 2 month time frame I contacted the autism charity myself and they have ZERO references from the Crisis team about my case. So the crisis team lied to me about helping me out.

Phoned a few times and had reposes such as. “Anxiety is not a chemical imbalance in your head” “if it wasn’t a panic attack you’d be dead” and so on. I’d say avoid if you’re in a mental health crisis.

Called today after having a mental health crisis. Told by a " receptionist to call money matters " . Are they going to help with a mental health crisis ..... avoid if you don't want to be triggered more .

absolutely terrible service. called on behalf of someone close to me and had an absolutely awful experience. unbothered, unprofessional staff. if you or someone you care about is truly in crisis you’re best off calling the police as these will not help. should be shut down completely a joke of service. peoples lives are in their hands you’d think they’d act with a bit of humility and understanding of the severity of these situations. it takes a lot for someone to turn to crisis

It's not the staffs fault.its the government they sold the land off . And not putting the money back into mental health services.Dont shoot the messenger. All you will get is lips services.it will happen in other services.i Really feel sorry for doctors and nurses because everything is out there control. Its people at the top we should be complaining about the service what we are getting. So everyone if you have anything to complaint about. Go to your Local MP..So they can take your complaints to the government. We need mental health doctors nurses And Mental health hospital Beds. I lost one my family to suicide I understand its made my mental health worse because we need a proper mental health service. Not lip services and charity's. God help us all and give us the strength to fight for what's right.

Not impressed at all my friend is a mess and you’ve told her to breathe as there’s no one available. She has bipolar and takes psychotic drugs to help her I rang you to ask for your help and you spoke to me with a patronising attitude. How very dare you if my friend hurts herself or worse I will never forgive and I’ll find away to take it higher . I am appalled at your attitude towards someone’s need . I to suffer with mental health issues …lucky for me I have family to support me .

Call handlers are cold non empathetic and lacking professionalism. If you truly are in mental health crisis just ring the police. I’ve had way better experience with them rather than crisis team
