Very well organised practice for my vaccines day appointment that was efficiently set online prior. I received a warm welcome from all the staff. I didn't wait and I was well directed. I received all vaccines and information I needed. Great experience overall! Please keep the good work and thank you again!

I think the staff nurses and doctors do a superb job. Always very polite and helpful and also apologetic when they are unable to fulfil our needs subject NHS restrictions?
Well done and keep up the great work

Horrible practice. Even with the new added online form which seems to be somewhat effective the underlying issue with the practice is the inability to book appointments in advance. Especially when you aren't guaranteed an appointment when you fill in the form or call in the morning and have dependants which are unable to attend themselves. The receptionist staff are always rude and never helpful.

Inability to see a GP for an ongoing illness and only being able to see them if your dying. Seems like the whole point of the GP to prevent disease and diagnose is completely lost here.

That all being said, when you do finally manage to see a GP some are helpful and enthusiastic of their role. While others seem half dead and unsympathetic.

They should really change their system and create a better way for people to get access to healthcare.

And to add Newbury street practice was in the top 5 most unhelpful gp receptionist list. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know.

Worst practice I've ever been a patient for. No such thing as booking an appointment in advance, only able to book for the day of and this is dependent on if you can call quick enough when they open. I wish other practices nearby were taking new patients as I would happily leave.

What a breath of fresh air Gareth is at Newbury, I’ve been asking doctors about a skin problem for 40 years, it took Gareth 3 minutes to tell me what it is.
Very professional, confident and he actually listened.
Better than my last phone call from another doctor in there which when I asked them about a prostate test, answer was, you will know when you have cancer because you will start losing weight, BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!

The chances of getting an appointment are close to 0% . I rang the practice 4 days in a row at 8.30am and once I reached a receptionist I was told the surgery was at capacity before I had even explained what was wrong with me. I was referred to 111 and the phone abruptly put down on me. I have an on going issue which I have put off ringing the doctors about for a few months and am now no further forward as I really don’t think 111 is the service I require . A face to face appointment with a GP at my local surgery is however.

I emailed the surgery this morning at 10:30am for a new prescription. I got a call at 6pm telling me they'd received the prescription request and a doctor would write it at the end of the day. Got a text from my GP at 6.30pm telling me it was ready for collection plus some extra medical advice.

Excellent service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Amazing people, doing the best they can, under the worst government in living history.
