It is perplexing that booking an appointment over the phone is not an option. My daughter attempted to schedule an appointment for my granddaughter but was informed that the practice does not have the capacity to handle phone bookings. Instead, she was instructed to visit the surgery in person to make an appointment. However, the website still lists a phone number for this purpose, which seems quite contradictory.

Am so impressed with new hall . I can always get an appointment due to the excellent call back system and find the staff friendly and polite. New Hall has looked after my husband very well and I m nothing but grateful to them and feel lucky to have such a great service .

If I could rate this GP practice as a 0 star, I would.
To start with, the appalling, unprofessional reception staff need to adopt patient communication. They’re incompetent, rude and show no empathy or respect. There is no patient care in this place. Constantly dismissing your medical needs. The most unprofessional practice, really needs sorting out. I work within health care my self and do not treat patients the way this practice treats patients.

In the last couple of days I have recieved a great service from the reception and medical staff at both Newhall and Alexander Surgery's . Appointments were arranged quickly for vaccinations and a health condition which had the potential to be serious. Thanks Steve

I'm unable to comment about the service received inside the practice because i've never been able to make it in. Each time the practice is called you should expect a minimum waiting time of at least an hour (likely far longer) and most people I know just opt to go to a walk in centre or their pharmacy. GP practices and services are practically non existent in this country anymore and this surgery seems to be a perfect example of the dire situation we're in. Depressing but not surprising. Seems most other people familiar with the practice feel the same way I do.
