I came for minor surgery on 13 November and had a very good experience. Everyone was pleasant, kind, and helpful , and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable . I cannot praise staff highly enough. Thank you.

I am 55 and suffered for many years with back and nerve pain. Eventually after an MRI my diagnosis was confirmed as spinal stenosis and I was referred to new hall hospital as a NHS patient.
I was seen quickly, at the time not knowing it was a private hospital.
Throughout my experience has been 100%positive and never once felt I was treated any less as a NHS patient.
My spinal surgery was done by Mr Matthew Stenning who made me feel confident in his care.
My surgery went exceptionally well, 12 weeks later I would say even better than I had dared hope.
Follow up with the hospital and Mr Stenning has been efficient including a date for my annual check up this. December.
I rate New Hall and all the staff very highly. Mr Stenning is clearly a skilled surgeon and I feel lucky to have passed through his hands. Thank you.

Unfortunately not a good experience. I was in hospital from Wednesday morning until Friday lunchtime for spinal surgery. I was unwell, on a drip and oxygen post surgery. At no time during my stay was I offered a wash of any kind. I was discharged not knowing I had surgical clips for which I should have been provided a removal kit apparently. Just been to my GP for wound check, they were as surprised as me to find clips as there was nothing in my discharge letter. Luckily the practice nurse managed to remove them all. Not impressed.

All the staff recently encountered at New Hall hospital ,were incredibly kind, caring and professional.
I was admitted for an operation and scared senseless, but the staff were super reassuring and kind.
Thank you for taking such good care of me, especially the outstanding nurses in recovery.

I have recently had Acdf surgery done at New Hall on the 17th Dec under the care of David Chapple
Everyone at the hospital have been wonderful. It's early days but so far so good.
I can honestly say treatment wise I could not have wished for better care I was an NHS patient but I had felt like I had been treated privately.
I have left New Hall making a lot of friends, if I could give more stars I would.

I don't think 5 stars are enough to rate my experience at New Hall. I had a debilitating shoulder osteo arthritis problem which had really affected the quality of my life. I was referred to Mr Elmorsey who I can only describe as nothing short of a surgical genius !! For the year prior to surgery, I could barely clean my teeth without experiencing grinding of bone on bone and pain. Now I can split firewood, dig the foundations to a garden building and oh so importantly, sleep, on the previously problematic shoulder . Thank you so much for your professional treatment , and expertise that you demonstrated with me, absolutely first class and truly life changing.

I went in for a surgery towards the end of the year and it was unequivocally the worst medical treatment I have ever received. Mr Branagan was dismissive and ended up not even carrying out a preplanned procedure leaving me in the same pain I was in before meeting him. With no explanation as to why I was put under a general anaesthetic for nothing to happen I was referred back to my GP to begin the process all over again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
