Literally more helpful than A&E for me! Staff were all very lovely and reassuring, rang up in the morning and got a same day appointment. I’ve been having to take time off work because my IUD was causing my a lot of pain, I was turned down from 3 different A&E departments and was told I’d have to wait until January for help, so I’m very grateful for Newcroft and the staff promptly helping me get to the bottom of my problems. Thank you!

I had my hormonal iud removed during a walk-in today. I did wait for about 2 hours to be called in, but the process was really smooth.
Before moving to Newcastle I tried twice to have the coil removed at a clinic in Derby but failed - they said they couldn’t see the string and suggested me to book a scan-aided removal, and both times were extremely, excruciatingly painful so I was quite traumatized.
But in today’s walk-in, the nurse I got, Katherine (apologies if I got the name wrong), located the thread within one minute and the whole process was quick and nearly painless. She probably spent more time reassuring me before the procedure than actually carrying it out. I couldn’t believe she just ended my months of affliction so easily. She’s a knight in shining armor to me.

Lesley was incredibly gentle, caring and informative in appointment at New Croft Centre. Everything was sorted out accordingly and with the up most appropriate professional advice.

Despite the busyness of the centre, what we must remember is that we're not the only ones seeking help. By living in a city area, we must respect that many other people will also be visiting the centre to seek help as you are; a basic human right.

With this in mind, I'm leaving 5 stars for the amount of support and comfort I received throughout my appointment, thankyou 🙂 x

Don't going they agin I wait out side still 8 clock tell not see me and the staff are not going no really good jobs to saw out there to and get doing jobs because one nurse one doing very really not good there saw out in the slaff way talking you

Since New Croft Centre went under the control of a private provider, the already poor service just got a million times worse. I was unable to book an appointment 3 months ahead like I used to when the NHS was running the show. I spent 25 minutes in a queue to speak to the receptionist to book an appointment only to be cut off. Staff moral is low and they are leaving in their droves. Avoid at all costs.

First time going back to this clinic since it’s been taken over and it has gone down hill. arrived as soon as the walk in clinic had started and got turned away due to max capacity of people. The receptionist told me I should’ve arrived earlier (despite not being told so when I rang up) and got really rude when I started asking about what I should do. Horrible experience do not go here.
