I visited New College Lanarkshire when competing in Worldskills 2021. Overall, I'd say the college hosted us comfortably well during the event with a lot of staff support and food provided. The complex was quite confusing at times, no doubt I'd get used to it if I actually studied here but the layout of the halls was perplexing sometimes.

Had a similar experience to the one Justin MacCormack mentioned while doing animation but a few years later, where one of the students started stalking me and sending me explicit and threatening messages. I spoke to the police about it and when Helen became aware she threatened to have me expelled as well. Really puts students in danger.

Studied Beauty here a few years ago. Some lectures are really wonderful individuals. However some think they're above Studeand forgets we actually pay their wages.Again to today 4 years later no Certificate I gave up asking!!!mhh go at your own risks, I feel other places are better. Parking also was a problem in the morning. I loved my Lecture Luz though, pure Gem if she is still there.

I did a SWAP Access to Social Sciences course at this college to qualtify me for entry to university (I'm in 3rd year at Strathclyde now).
This college contains some of the best educators I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. They supported my academic development every step of the way and I could not be more grateful.

I had the misfortune of doing an HND animation course here in 2005, back when it was still Motherwell College. The experience was truly awful. The head of the department, a woman called Helen, was often outright verbally abusive and degrading to myself and other students. In one instance I was experiencing harassment and threats from another student which eventually got so bad that the police had to be involved, and when this was discussed with Helen refused to do anything and actually threatened to have me removed from the course! Talk about victim blaming. The staff managed to 'lose' the work that was submitted to them multiple times. Extremely unprofessional and an outright hostile environment.

I was study beauty in New college Lanarkshire motherwell. I had horrible experiences with Joanne Josey. Didn't really helpful and professional and so selfish. Never learned anything. West the time. not recommended to anybody.

Rejected after trying to apply twice, made it to the interviews but soon as I got the first interview I was asked where my accent was from so I'm assuming I got rejected for being from Edinburgh. Second interview was the same woman, really should have said wouldn't have put myself into that process. This time I was "a bit" old for the course yet a week later seen a 40 year old who was on the same interview heading to college for that course. Just a joke of a place to be honest especially if they reject on accent terms.
