Majority of the reception staff are rude and have an attitude and it seems like it’s too much effort for them to do their job. However, IF you do manage to get an appointment the doctors and especially the nurses are really friendly. Everything is online now which personally I don’t think is great. The categories to describe why you need an appointment are limited, and you can be waiting a few days for a call back. Definitely taken on way too many patients. I should of left when them misdiagnosed my dad 7 years ago and he ended up dying 3 days after his appointment!

The doctors are great, but it’s virtually impossible to see them.

I’ve been trying to get an appointment for my daughter. I called during my lunch break on Wednesday. I was told there were no appointments left for today and have to call back Thursday 8am. I have a full time job, how am I meant to call and spend 20-40 minutes on hold when I start work at 9? I managed to do that regardless and was told I would be sent a link to send in information about my daughter’s condition. Friday I get an email back saying I need to book a face to face appointment. It’s like a vicious circle of trying to get seen. It’s completely impractical for anyone who has a job to only be allowed to call to make an appointment at 8am and then if you DO get an appointment have to come in the same day (future appointments no longer seem to be offered) when I can’t just randomly leave in the middle of the day at work and my daughter is at school.

You can see by all the reviews this system just does not work.

Every interaction with every person whether doctor receptionist or nurse and everyone in between are always so caring, professional and yet personable too. They are superb, efficient and always relatable too. Never feel like a number or a problem but always respected and cared for. Awesome people who make the difference to lives!

The care you receive from the Doctors and Nurses at this practice is great - I can’t fault it
The reception you receive from the staff who answer the phone needs some serious work!
I actually filled out a feedback form a few months ago after being made to feel like a criminal because I didn’t understand why I couldn’t book in a future appointment and all appointments are deemed as what I would consider ‘emergency’ calling at 8am on the day. I never heard anything back by the way.. and nothing has changed
The reception staff come across as uninterested and extremely uncaring on the phone. It is very ‘computer says no’ in nature. The message from the practice is all about being kind and patient when speaking to their staff… it’s a big shame they don’t reciprocate or take note of their own advice

I understand the NHS is under immense pressure however there is no need for this. It’s ruining the impression of what I know to be a good practice

Absolutely useless. Couldn't sort out a piss up in a brewery. Wife has medication that she cannot live with out and keeps her healthy and her prescription has been messed up several times despite repeated phone calls and visits over the past 5 weeks. Even the pharmacist is shocked at how bad the surgery and GP's has been at sorting this. Really is shocking and complaints will be made to appropriate people.

Been with this practice for over 20 years The doctors and receptionists were so professional and understanding when they were at the old practice site now its the total opposite was told last week if i am not happy with the service provided and i can always leave to another practice by the receptionist.
I try not to attend now since Dr Derbyshire retired i was seen by 2 other doctors who wrongly diagnosed my condition even he was mystified about their diagnosis when i finally got an appointment to see him .
Had an appointment with Dr Ubhi found her very confrontational. I felt very uncomfortable with her response to my problems .
I personally think they have taken on to many patients with all the new houses being built around the area is probably the main reason you cannot get an appointment or see your own registered doctor .such a shame used to be a family practice....

I was nervous at first to use this website but was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to navigate and helped me get an appointment very quickly on the same day.

The nurses and doctors are amazing, but I have literally tried since Monday morning to make an appointment and it is now Thursday. I have been on hold and in a queue system from 8am every morning for at least 30mins whilst trying to get the children to school and Pre school and once at the front of the queue get told that there are no appointments left. We have been with this surgery for 20 years, it has never been this difficult to make an appointment, no wonder the hospital are on overflow, it is actually ridiculous.
