He purchased land, which he then generously bequeathed to the people of Redditch in 1924 to be used as a park .The 95 acres of Morton Stanley Park offer a rich mosaic of natural habitats and things to do, amidst a historic landscape of open mown grass, veteran trees and mature hedgerows.’.
