My elderly mother needs a lot of medical help but over many years has been almost absent from these abysmal practitioners. Had a certain senior 'Doctor' not retired then I would certainly give zero stars. Appalling. Amateur. Annoying.

Absolutely shocking service if you managed to get past the receptionists you might actually get an appointment.
However this is still not likely. Despite ringing up at 08:30 you have to have a call back before an appointment. So no chance of seeing a doctor.
Shame because when I was younger this was an amazing surgery, definitely living on its previous reputation.

On a side note after having a heart attack, being discharged from the hospital on the premises I get a doctors appointment the next day. I was refused. As there's more important patients. Their words not mine. When I went back to the hospital they were fuming and did the appointment at the hospital. Not been able to see any doctor since that was a year ago. Been trying weekly to get a appointment.
100% avoid if possible.

Receptionist does whatever they can to prevent patients from seeing a doctor. Appointment system is a lottery with limited bookings and only if you insist, will they try and book you an appointment. Usually the earliest is 6 weeks away.
After 4 generations of our family being served by Morrab, we are leaving.

I rarely review however I feel after having a positive experience at a really difficult time I wanted to say Thankyou to the most loveliest receptionist (I’m so sorry I didn’t remember her name) and Dr Medlock. The most reassuring and caring voices on the other end of the phone. Thankyou

New to this surgery and to the area. On my first visit the receptionist was really lovely, professional, helpful, friendly and approachable. The doctor was even more so,unfortunately didn’t get her name. On my second visit, I was on time but the receptionist was busy with an elderly gentleman for about 7 minutes or so. I didn’t want to be rude and hover, so I sat down and patiently waited. By the time I got to receptionist I was 7 minutes late. (Different from the first time) she typed and said I had just arrived. I didn’t correct her. I ended up waiting over an hour. When I finally asked the receptionist, she told me she would send another message. I ended up being seen by someone else. I have honestly NEVER felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome in my life. Maybe I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time I guess.I have been back a fee times since this review. And I think it was just what I said it was. In the wrong place at the wrong time. The staff and doctors have been amazing in treating both my daughter and myself with care and the utmost respect. I thank them for their service.Forever grateful to the NHS

When I moved to Penzance 15 years ago I joined the surgery and was seen by Dr Armstrong he took a lot of time to listen to me and learn what was actually going on and I have built a trusting relationship with him , I have also been seen by Dr Rutherford and was awarded the same care and understanding , the receptionist have been polite and professional, most of the time. I have seen the way some people talk to them and I can honestly say it's disgusting they have a hard job .
I love the klink system as I don't really like going out to the doctors at the best of times and it saves alot of time for everyone all round especially if you have common sense, they get back to you usually the same day and obviously read them quickly.

This doctors surgery is no fit for purpose. On multiple occasions my family has been let down by the doctors who seem to think that asking for a photograph and then either prescribing antibiotics or on one occasion when I sent pictures of blisters ( the size of a fifty pence coin ) on my 18 month old child's legs and feet that I had an email confirmation but then never a response from the doctor. My wife now has results that have been at the doctor's for Two days but no response despite several calls to the surgery, greeted by the rude and passive aggressive receptionist. We now plan on putting an official comment against this surgery. You have been warned do not use this surgery.
