The final straw for me was cancelling my appointment without rescheduling. I was on hold for 30 minutes to ask about rescheduling, the receptionist said she would send a link to book but she never did. I’ve moved centres now and I’m already having a much better experience.

Frustrating

Would be zero stars if it was an option. been in for 2 blood tests now, the first time they did not send off my blood in time and when it was tested, it was deemed 'too old'. so 3 weeks for an appointment, 3 week wait for the tests to come back and I have to repeat the whole process. Another 3 week wait for an appointment, complete the blood test an questionair and then I wait 4 weeks but haven't heard anything. I phone up to find out the blood was sent but the documentation and questionair was not sent with it.

Every time you go into the health center, all staff look tired and angry and it's always busy. The thing is, you don't know who to be annoyed at because it must be manic the amount of people they have to deal with and in a very busy are of Bristol with lots of mental and physical health problems, it must me a hard job to undertake.

I do feel like, however, because of this, no-one actually cares about you and they don't care what level of Service they provide. Weather thats because of the amount of people they have to deal with or how underfunded it is or whatever reason. The sad thing is that the outcome of this is LOTS of frustrated people like myself being left in the dark, cast aside and forgotten about.

I was on hold for 43 minutes and 35 seconds and when I eventually got through to someone they said they would look into it, put me back on hold for 15 minutes and then the phone cut out, almost like they hung up. Called back up and now I'm queuer number 12 again.

This is the worst Surgery/Health Centre I have ever has the misfortune to deal with. Avoid at all costs if you can.

When my records were mailed over to the surgery, they lost part of my medical history. I had lump which required an inspection to deem if it was cancerous, it took 5 weeks to get an appointment, luckily it was benign. I then asked the surgery to fill out a form for the army, which takes 5 minutes to do, I submitted this in June 2023. Over the course of the next 7 months I went in 10 separate times filling out new request forms for my doctor to fill out the form as I was told it was still not done. Eventually I filled out a complaint form, which was answered, turns out the doctor took my official sensitive personal form home and lost it and just never told me on any of the repeat requests. He apologised and promised to fill it out as soon as I bring in a new one. The army then emailed the form so it couldn’t be lost, after THREE more repeat emails of the form plus, additional notifications, they still did not do it and I lost my place in the army. It’s beyond staggering the incompetence even worse that I am not embellishing the story. Luckily I have now moved and I can finally speak to a doctor. Do not bother.

The GPs themselves seem good, but actually finding a way to see them is close to impossible. New online 'Patient Access' app also doesn't allow you to book an appointment. What a mess...

The WORST GP surgery in the country. First caller for an urgent need no appointment. If you are lucky to get one, they run late. Their admin staff are the worst in the country. How are they still allowed to operate as a practice?

I literally cannot get through to them either by phone or booking an appointment online. And when I have got through to them, they do not call on time and are abrupt.

Appointments only available if you call before 8am.

At 8.00.05 am the appointments are all taken and there is a queue of 50 people.

It's actually impossible. The NHS is dangerous to sick people because of the underfunding.

If they say you have 'long covid' and offer 'talking therapy' they will cease investigating the illness and dump the patient into the Long Covid group. They will say it has a 'mental component'.

If they say 'Long covid' be aware they are just gatekeeping the NHS due to costs. Long covid is not cured by talking. Neither is cancer. It's a real set of physical issues. It will make people unhappy, but, that's pain.

Beware.

I am desperate. Been with this centre for my whole life, and I just can't get an appointment. Ive had different agencies contact them saying I need to be seen, all they do is send a text out saying to make an appointment, which i can't do. I did an online triage, and a day or two later was sent a link saying "follow this link and make an appointment in the next 7 days, keep checking back because new appointments sre released all the time". I tried several times a day every day and couldn't make an appointment at any time. I am suffering, mentally and physically, and have been for months, and I have not been able to get seen. This is dangerous, and I'd advise anyone to go anywhere but here, it's making me ill.
