Every practician I have met with here has been phenomenal: kind , willing to help , clear explanations as to what the process is going to be and what to expect. Very busy service as the patient's list seems to be end-less but they are doing their best to get to everyone.

Brent CAMHS has an excellent group of professionals. Child services are underfunded at best. The issue is getting from GP referral to initial assessment and then under a treatment plan. My daughter (once under the umbrella) was properly looked after. Sarah is an amazing psychologist and turned my girl's life around. Delays getting in prevent me giving it 5 stars but it's not their fault. My local GP has 15,000 patients on their books. Imagine being responsible for the children of a whole borough. Crazy pressure with limited resources.

It’s been 2 months calling Brent Camhs every day. My son needs medication urgently, he is going mad and we can’t cope with him anymore. They say, I am on the waiting list for an assessment. I am going there with no appointment and won’t move until they give me prescriptions.

some racist asian old lady with glasses was asked a question years ago. How do you think people stutter. And this was her response " Its depends on how they've been brought up..ok!". When I found out I was so shocked. This is because she was trying to state that people with stammers/stutters were not brought up right, I'm officially going to report this racist ignorant lady to human resources and have her sacked. Very disrespectful and simultaneously rude.
