I am appalled with the service my mother has received from this surgery. She is a carer within the NHS and has received the most limited treatment possible when we have asked for the most basic care to see why my mother is sick. She is cannot move her muscles and is unable to work yet the doctor has done nothing to assist her whatsoever. Do not come to this surgery as they will not help you. Despite there being a new surgery built they are just as useless as before. Clearly they do not care about their patients and will not try to help in any way possible. My mother is unable to walk due to her condition and they will do nothing to solve it.

The surgery ran blood tests due to numbness and pins and needles, they checked for anemia and diabetes. The surgery never phoned my wife to tell her the results knowing she was carer and going abroad soon, she had to check NHS app for results. She had a follow up appointment before she went away, they raised no concerns about her flying and said they needed to do more tests. As soon as she got to her destination she was bed ridden, went to hospital they immediately referred her to a physio and helped her with her circulation. There is now doubts whether she can fly back. Yet again another situation where Dr's at the surgery do the bare minimum and refuse to refer to a specialist. They need their medical license revoked. Useless.

Both my parents have been badly let down by Minch surgery. Repeated visits were just fobbed off as old age. They both had to pay for private tests and diagnosis and now have serious diseases that could have been treated earlier or slowed down if they had been taken seriously by the apathetic doctors. Complete lack of duty of care.

When I read the negative reviews I wonder whether the writers actually attend the same surgery as myself. I have been seen by nearly all the available doctors at different times and find them all very very helpful. That also goes for the rest of my family. All of us are well looked after here. Likewise we cannot fault the reception , prescription and nursing staff.

Aphetic, unhelpful and surly receptionist made me hate calling luck of the draw which one you would get. Some Drs lack understanding of mental health and were generally unhelpful. Moved to Five Valleys and found the customer service and bedside manner much better overall. Some Drs were very good.

Been fighting for a decade to have lumps from my neck and ears removed have had big flare ups and cause big mental health problems yet dr Simpson the skin specialist lol dr weir and dr cooper couldn’t care less because they care about the bugget and how much money they make utter disgrace to humanity.

Reception staff are friendly, caring and have really helped me at difficult times. Dr Beard is quite simply outstanding. At a difficult time for the NHS I think what they achieve is remarkable.
