My daughter was born after a complicated pregnancy, twenty hours of labour and an emergency c-section - the entire maternity team was incredible throughout every step of the way and ensured that both my beautiful wife and daughter were safe and healthy. The triage team, midwives, labour team and cesarian team were all amazing.

Had a kidney scan today and was seen on time by Wayne and the very efficient doctor. I couldn't believe it when I got a text and my results this evening on my NHS app. Absolutely brilliant service and please pass my thanks on to the team.

Absolutely love and appreciate this place for their delivery staff for childbirth, whether that be surgical team or labour ward, both were so amazing for me! I had my son in November and he was and is my first. I had so many risks throughout pregnancy which made me worry for my son as when he went overdue, I was informed of the risks he were building if he wasn't born soon so I was so scared to have opted for a c section at last minute due to it being a major surgery but I just wanted my son to arrive safely instead of it being prolonged with induction despite natural being my birth plan but after all you do what you feel what's best for your baby❤️ but anyways, with regards to speaking to someone about any concerns, consultant midwife, Lauren Mitchell I would highly recommend, I had severe Anxiety after my OB kept scaring me about my birth throughout my entire pregnancy , acting like they know what would happen so when I spoke to Lauren, she obviously didn't decide for me but she helped alleviate my concerns and steer me to a comfortable place ( she even stayed with me for the entire c section) and the surgical team were so lovely, so informative and reassuring and kept me updated all the way even with my monitoring ❤️ this was the scariest day of my life, I did something that was out of my comfort zone but I got the best thing in the whole world and that was becoming a mum! Yes hard recovery but nothing beats the sound of your baby's first cries Ladies! ❤️ I literally recorded mine x and I would do it again as these people are the ones I would go to again instead of the consultants, especially if it's your first baby and you just want some reassurance ☺️ aftercare in the labour ward for recovering was astonishing too, very helpful especially during the day, sadly the night care midwives could be more ☺️ Also another two notes to bear in mind, don't ever be afraid to ask for painkillers whether natural birth or surgical as you are entitled to a certain amount during your stay! ? Also, if you feel like you need something for Anxiety like I did or any mental health feelings, speak to the mk perinatal health team who will arrange for an IV to be given to you during your birth, I had midazolam and it was terrifically fast acting which helped and I had that before anything even started ☺️ This hospital may not always seem high standard but these people I mentioned are, Ladies no matter what birth you are having, you have got this! We are in the best hands believe me ?❤️

Utterly unacceptable level of service. Despite being the first people at the children’s A&E (pre 8am), they made my heavily pregnant wife wait 6 hours for my very ill child to be seen. They were then sent away with Calpol… We saw a proper Dr the next day in Woburn who confirmed that my daughter had a bad chest and throat infection. What a joke of an establishment, not fit for purpose and frankly dangerous. The staff there should be struck off.

I had an ultrasound appointment today, it was efficient in terms of results, but it felt rushed and made me feel uncomfortable at times. First of all there were two people in the room but only one was involved in the examination, and I wasn't given a reason for the presence of the other person, which was annoying for me giventhe private nature of my examination. They didn't introduce themselves or explain what is going to happen and how the examination will proceed. Instructions felt like orders rather than requests. Overall, the whole experience was very different from other appointments I had within the NHS.

I recently brought my wife to the emergency department at mk university hospital and we were both very impressed with the care she received. The staff was prompt and professional, and one nurse, in particular, I forgot her name but with a red hair ,showed exceptional kindness and compassion. She made my wife feel comfortable and cared for during a stressful time. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend

Absolutely tremendous staff and after care duty. Had a series of 5 eye injections, scared! You bet but believe me it was painless well explained great care fantastic staff accommodated me by attending on a Saturday, as I drive for a living. If you are booked in to this department for any work doing, fear not, treated from start to finish with care. Maybe people on reviews haven't been as well looked after as myself but I'd find that hard to believe. Fear nothing this department is amazing from start to finish
