Been registered at this practice for 2 years now. I am very impressed by their efficiency in dealing with everything, prescriptions, appointments, etc. The staff there go above and beyond to help you and are very sympathetic and understanding when you have a problem. The receptionists are very knowledgeable along with the other admin staff and I don't think the doctors and nurses can do without them. This healthcare partnership comes highly recommended.

I had a recent blood test, arrived 5 minutes early, and was promptly seen by a nurse, very polite and professional, made me feel at ease and before I knew it she had taken the blood sample, all in all a very professional surgery

I spoke to a receptionist at Ann Street yesterday who politely told me to fill in the online form tomorrow morning at 8am for an appointment. She took the time to fully explain how to do it. I duly did this this morning, but it unfortunately failed to submit on several occasions so I rang the surgery instead and heard there were 24 people waiting to have their call answered so the surgery's telephone system offered me a ring-back facility. I keyed in 'O' as instructed and did indeed get a call back from a very friendly and helpful young lady about 5-10 minutes later. After speaking to her, I then I got another call from another lady offering me various times for an appointment today. I was very impressed that despite the failure of the online form which can happen with technology, I still got an appointment today. Once again, I find myself impressed by this surgery's service. Thank you Millgate Medical Partnership for exceeding my expectations once again.

After spending my valuable time trying to figure out how to get an appointment on line , god knows how the very old or the special need go on trying figure it out , anyway I got a call back with a 9am appointment, I arrived at 8:45. After waiting in the waiting room 2and half hours I was call in to see the doctor.
And still everything is blamed on Covid 3 years later , what a joke .

Called in the practice on Thursday for an appointment (I had completed the online form that morning). Took my BP in the reception out of curiosity whilst I was waiting and it was extremely high.
I called in the following morning and my BP was just as high so I completed the online form and was called into the practice a couple of hours later.
The doctor (Dr Ali) spent time checking my BP and asking questions. I didn't feel rushed. He completely put me at ease, increased my current medication and asked me to come back for a review in 3 weeks time.
I see lots of comments on Facebook about this practice but I've never had an issue. NHS receptionists have an unenviable job and, when treated with the respect they deserve, will do their utmost to help you. The NHS may be struggling and doctors, receptionists and all the support people in surgeries are doing their best. A little patience goes a long way.

I had an appointment to see a certain GP, on arrival I checked in and noticed my appointment was with Sister Hoyle. I felt a little disappointed at first not seeing the GP I had requested however Sister Hoyle was absolutely brilliant. She listened, understood ,gave fantastic advice even about paying for my prescriptions, sorted my meds straight away, I absolutely cannot fault her.
