Terrible service. If you’re thinking of starting therapy here, and you’re unsure, then this is your sign not to. Waited years for therapy, was only “fast tracked” after a hospital visit- even then they will not see you rapidly. I waited 8 months after hospital and that was considered “quick” even after waiting for 4+ years for treatment. You will be given a fixed number of sessions in which you must get better. If you aren’t better, or in my case, worse off from the invasive therapies they offer here, they will still end treatment and provide nothing more. It is no wonder so many people kill themselves when this is what’s available.

Been here with a patient who was in absolute crisis only reason the hospital couldn't admit her was because of no beds so sent us here to see Dr brooks he was useless wouldn't issue meds when the patient clearly needed her meds she isn't sleeping at all she's delirious and suicidal and what did Dr brooks do? Absolutely nothing said she needed to talk what a joke no wonder so many people end up harming if not killing themselves as when your in crisis you won't get any help at all you are just left to deal with it at home on your own! This doctor I would avoid like the plague if your in crisis as he will do naff all! Absolutely disgusting how can you send someone home in absolute crisis with nothing apart from ring the crisis team and they just pass the book back to this clown of a Dr! Well if anything happens to the patient in question I will be reporting all this to the medical council and it's going to be investigated enough is enough AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Absolutely useless more chance of winning the lottery than getting an answer here phones go dead in the afternoon yet the answer machine states there Open till 5pm Dr Brooks is about as much use as a chocolate fire gourd and thinks all mental illness can be treated by talking and cbt rubbish won't issue patients who have previously been admitted to hospital with meds they clearly need and never returns calls no wonder the mental health system in this country is in such a state and there is so much suicide they just pass the book and your told to contact the crisis team who also didn't want to help just made notes and contacted Dr Brooks again around in circles we go stay well clear of this place if you need medication they won't give you anything.disgusting can't be bothered attitude

Usually only go here by appointment. Run by NHS .
Main door locked . Need to buzz in and report to reception with appointment to book in . Then told where you need to be. Has both lift and stairs . Disabled access is flat and level and the lift will take a wheelchair . There are wc available too. Waiting room can be a bit tight to get in and out but not usually kept waiting .
There is disabled parking bay in the car park
