How helpful and concerned i was today after i returned from a routine blood test at the Royal Sussex Hospital to be given an urgent letter to hand in to my local surgery . The receptionist was amazing and very concerned. I was seen by Doctor Punwar in 10 minutes one really professional doctor who put my mind at ease . This GP surgery is dangerous & inadequate at caring for their patients.
I’ve been under them for my entire life as a patient & for the years that have passed, they get worse & worse in how little care they give. To the point I’ve developed a serious health condition which was evidently missed & taken a lengthy amount of time to even be seen, not by themselves of course.

Sadly I am not the only person within in my family where a health concerns & symptoms has been raised several times, missed & now suffering extensive procedures or no longer with us on this earthly plane due to their inability to take medical symptoms seriously & refer promptly, if at all.
Beyond dismissive.
Having had to fight years with numerous visits, phone-call appointments, online consultations put through, endless blood tests with irregular results & medications thrown to me with no change in results after, they look at me, shrug, tell me they don’t know what the issue is or what to do other than “lose weight & take paracetamol” for the only advice to sustain a mass of symptoms that affect my daily life to a severe extent.
It scares me just how many patients have suffered, died & will continue to die due to their lack of efforts to bother looking into patients health concerns. Some very lazy & dismissive Doctors with very outdated ideas & treatments, if you actually receive any, that is.

Managed to get an appointment within an hour this morning, for my baby, and we were seen quickly and safely, despite staff shortages and obviously the pandemic. Very grateful indeed. Thanks everyone, and thanks Dr Carl Egan- my daughter clearly thought you were great and so did I!

I called this morning and was able to get an appointment to speak with a GP today, despite staff shortages and the pressures of the pandemic. Receptionist professional, polite, efficient. Very grateful and appreciative, particularly knowing the pressure the team here and the NHS in general are under at the moment.

I had a problem getting an appointment to sign off a prescription. I left a review online and the practice manager got in touch the same day and explained the situation (turns out there was a good reason for the delay). They managed to sort everything out for me. Very helpful!

Didn't give me long enough to change doctor during a pandemic. Now I don't have one and can't access my prescription for anxiety and depression. That seems like a great way to treat patients with mental illness right now.
