Michael Hughes is one of the most impressive individuals I have been lucky to have met in my 48 years.
I would go as far as to say he is a genius. When I first met Michael in 2024 I was a shell of myself caused by toxic relationships and work pressure. Over a period of 4 months, Michael rebuilt me. I learnt about stress buckets, cortisol, narcissistic patterns of behaviour and a fascinating insight of how the brain works.

At the beginning of the new year, I was in a depression so deep that my husband reached out to Michael. After living in a narcissistic and abusive environment for 22 years, experiencing a traumatic birth, and going through a tough postpartum period, my stress bucket was full, and my tank was empty. I wanted to get better, but I didn’t have the mental energy to seek the help I needed. However, after just one session with Michael, my energy returned, along with my spark. I first met Michael 15 years ago when I was struggling with a phobia of blood / needles and injury that had caused panic attacks and fainting since I was three years old. My fear had grown so much I was fainting at ambulances on the street! After working with him for several weeks I can honestly say he changed my life for 10 years. Sadly due to various pressure’s in life I was badly triggered 5 years ago, and over the years since - especially the last 10mths, I’ve become a disabler of my children’s hobbies for fear they will hurt themselves and I won’t be able to cope, so reached out to Michael again.
Since starting therapy with him about 5 weeks ago, I can honestly say I feel like a different person again. I’m confident, my anxiety and fear has gone, and I’ve been able to encourage my children to do the things they love a flourish (rugby, football and horse riding) - while enjoying watching them do it.
