My Auntie has just has the best experience with her new leg since she became an amputee which was 50 years ago. Claudia was awesome listening to all the points my auntie said. She left this centre with her new leg on with the upmost confidence and excitement and secure in her leg which had been a long time. Thank you for being awesome

Put a referral with your doctor to change prosthetic center ASAP! Clatterbridge is the best prosthetic center available and keeps up with what they are contracted to supply you with. This prosthetic center is useless. I had Andrea as my prosthetic fitter, she tried to send me home with a socket that was not fitted and did not fit at all. She told me that a C leg is pointless and is a waste of time. Since attending clatterbridge I am a C leg owner and it is an awesome leg. Looks awesome feels awesome and is very safe. The leg she gave me was not serviced and failed to engage. I walked down a flight of stairs with my daughter in my arms, the 3r80 knee she failed to service did not engage and went completely loose resulting in me falling. Luckily I managed to grab the hand rail and stay on my feet, but this could of turned out to be alot worse. Since getting my C leg life is great and these legs don't not fail to engage. I feel safe on my feet and very confident. Andrea can be a nice person but the truth is that she has no idea what she is talking about . Everything she said to me turned out to not be true. My prosthetic limb was assessed by clatterbridge and they said it was hideous and not correctly made. Stay away for this place. Saving money, not caring, being misinformed, whatever the reason is that they don't give you want you are entitled to who cares! Just put a referral in and go to clatterbridge.

Despite waiting 2 months to have new foot rubbers fitted which was supposed to be in stock within 1 week I was then sent home with a foot which wasn’t tightened up and turned in which resulted in me being unable to walk - upon calling the centre I was advised no one would be able to see me, I have been requesting a spare limb which should be provided for 7 years! Having a heart a breathing condition it’s becoming very clear that the SAC is not providing the service as the the NHS contract and Opcare. Only after a very distressing conversation was it agreed that the matter could be resolved - despite the fact that it was wholly down to the job not being done correctly in the first place which is simply a tightening of the bolt to keep the foot in place which should be ratchet tightened - I am attending the centre now with no specific time that I will be seen resulting in a complete waste of my day as I have an appointment tomorrow but cannot be left with the ability to walk, I am utterly disappointed with the fact that I have had to wait 2 months for a repair which caused me severe back pain due to the additional stress due to my prosthetic not working correctly and very little consideration for a patient being left completely immobile not just all weekend but the centre was prepared to leave me a further day due to firstly there mistake and secondly for a job which is a simple 10/30 minute repair, absolutely astounded
