I called to make an appointment last week and i had to call 145 times and still did not speak to anyone. And when i eventually get through there is no appointments left, which is a joke because i can walk in there at any point of the day and the waiting room is mostly empty. If anything we should all be refunded because the surgery gets around Β£200 per year per patient from the NHS which we pay our stamp with, and they get that money regardless if you go once per year or never. Its robbery and this message is in no way related to the wonderful staff who have the misfortune of working for the owner.

Would give a minus review if possible! The lack of care given to my 89 year old mum was unbelievable - no service provided whatsoever. Unable to get anyone to answer phone whatever day or time ( there are more than 5 people in the queue!), nothing ever followed through. Kept waiting 2 hours for a pre- booked knee injection 'cos God was running late ( same every time). Now moved her to another practice and it's like a miracle - they are kind and polite and answer the phone ( even on a Monday morning!). They are helpful and thorough. Don't waste your time - move while you're still alive! Should have done this ages ago.

I had a phone appointment booked with the in house pharmacist yesterday to discuss some meds i was put on last month and to ask them to be put on my repeat. Unfortunately due to me being at work and ended up in unplanned meetings, I missed his calls. Got a message from my pharmacy today to say they are processing my order. Had a look and it's the meds I was due to speak to pharmacist about. Nice pleasant surprise. Thank you!

I've been with this practice now for just over a year and have had nothing but let downs. Rang last week to see a Dr because my anxiety was off the scales and needed some medication. They wanted me to wait over a month to see someone even though I needed to see someone that day. In November, the receptionist decided I didn't need to see a Dr because I had a headache. I explained what had caused it, fast forward several hours and I'm sat in a&e for 30 hours, they thought I'd had a stroke. Luckily after the stroke clinic did more tests it wasn't a stroke but I should have absolutely been seen br a Dr that day.. I've tried phoning today because I've found 2 lumps in my breast. Guess what, I'm being made to wait nearly a month to see a Dr because apparently I need the dermatology clinic πŸ™„. Let's hope it's nothing serious shall we because a month is a long time to wait for finding lumps in breasts. Especially when practices keep making posts about the urgency of seeing a Dr if you find something.

Useless. Five weeks for a doctors appointment then some pharmacists rings instead. Longest waiting time on hold I've ever experienced. Sent a letter specifically asking for access to my records by a legal firm. Six weeks later still nothing. Rude phone staff who basically think they know better.

I will start that the staff at the practice are very lovely and friendly

But...

I have never had such a bad experience with the system. It took them 3 months to register me because they lost my initial application. Another time, I called 111 and the GP said they would contact my Medical Practice but the medical practice lost that request. I moved to Liverpool and registered at another GP. I tried calling multiple times and the lines kept saying the lines were closed. When I got through the next week. I asked for my medical records and they told me I wasn't on the system. They had lost all my records so now I need to start all over again. there system really needs an update and better management. I don't know how they function. Would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Dear customers, I think it's time to say enough. We cannot consent to such a thing. Each of us has the same situation because most likely this message is the same for everyone. There is no one in line and this information is only recorded and broadcast continuously. It would be good for someone to remind them what their role is. Their (GP) responsibilities include: They include the identification and management of illnesses, providing health advice and referral to other services. GPs are required to provide their essential services during core hours, which are 8.00am–6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
So let's not be fooled into thinking that requesting appointment with a doctor must only be by phone. The NHS has staded that appointments booked through reception must also be available to everyone. And the refusal is just a whim and an invention of the employees of this GP unit.
Finally, to sum up, one star is still too much, but I cannot give less, unfortunately... please remember, dear customers, that no one can block our access to the doctor. Because this is about our health and life, which is protected by law.

Wouldn't even give this place 1 star it's absolutely disgusting! Been trying to get my 5 year old an appointment for 3 days who's been suffering with tonsillitis, rang up and asked for a same day appointment to be told they are fully booked and to call 111. Went round to the surgery at 8am to make a same day appointment to be told she had to wait a week as they can only offer pre bookable appointments over the counter! Absolute joke this place it wants knocking down brick by brick! My daughter hasn't ate anything in 4 days, she's done nothing but sleep and all her throat is yellow and swollen. 5 year old and they won't even see her!!!!

Go up
