Have been of no use whatsoever. I regret I had to leave previous surgery due to a change of catchment area. After a few appointments at Merrow Park Surgery and another phone call with a patronising receptionist this morning, who even after reading notes still had no idea what I was talking about, I realised this surgery clearly has very poor communication and management issues. This is confirmed by a number of comments on this page.
I would definitely avoid if you're thinking of joining. I have applied to a different  surgery.

We have been with Merrow Park for 9 years, until recently our usage has been very light but having been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer I can say that the support recieved from reception and Dr Quick in particular has been brilliant. Thanks!

Fantastic team, reception are actually helpful and friendly, doctors and nurses do a good job and are friendly. They are horribly over subscribed, but doing their best, so ask yourself before moaning to them: is the issue likely due to them having no time (not their fault)? Or were you just wasting their time even more with the initial problem?

It is Appalling this surgery is not improved at all although so many complaints!
Both Dr. Han are the worst, most unsympathetic doctor I have seen. They are rude and not professional. Also makeing appointment is nightmare with merrow park surgery. I keep doing till the third day I can find appointment. But unfortunately, it was Dr. Han. Not helpful at all!

This surgery and the NHS are just going down the toilet, I have spent 30mins on telephone This morning being number 1 in the queue to be told there's only 1 appointment left ! How does that work even.. only one doctor who can have a conversation and get medication right and the rest still asking silly questions. So sad as used to be a great surgery have been with them for 30yrs and am now looking to change surgery before my autoimmune get worse.

As a patient of Merrow Park for 40 years and been more than happy with the service and doctors, the contrast with the current management, led by Dr Han is appalling. It is unsurprising that the current CQC review of this previously excellent surgery, concludes that improvement is needed. The reception staff do their best and beyond, but the turnover of medical staff is ridiculous. This, according to local report, due to Dr Han's demands, personality and management. A once excellent practice run (senior partner Dr Davies and subsequently Dr Sender) for the patient, now seems to be run for profit. 4, later 5 doctors ran full surgeries daily, including Saturday morning, and on call for nights. Now, seemingly no doctor in the practice works a full week. Appointments which once (emergencies aside) were next day, are now booked weeks ahead and then possibly only for a telephone call. These, necessary during the pandemic, should be no longer, unless expressly asked for. Although disabled, in ill health and need to be seen regularly, I have met my doctor (who I must say is excellent) just once. My appointed Dr having changed 3 times in recent years. The one doctor I would refuse to see, despite how necessary is Dr Han, who is both rude and arrogant. I have been shouted at across the surgery for trying to explain that a different doctor and not he was my dying father's physician. (He was wrong). etc etc. Please get better management, more doctors, more staff, longer surgeries and bring back a better service.

Been with this practice for over 20 years and have now decided to change. The decline in the way patients are treated is palpable, almost an inconvenience. Such a shame as this used to be a first class GP surgery.

We have been with the practice for 2 years and all the staff have been super helpful and supportive (especially Dr Quick), she is amazing! Nothing is ever a problem and they answer my queries in a timely manner. Thank you for supporting my family and I.
