Very impressed. Filled out an Econsult for my 5 year old daughter at 10am , got a call back at 10:30 . Offered me an appointment that afternoon. Seen quickly and had antibiotics in hand by 4:30pm. . Great service. Dr Thiyarajah is so lovely , I have seen her a few times now .

Meopham medical centre are amazing!

I can always get a telephone call or face to face appointment after completing an e-consult form.

The doctors listen and will give relevant medications, advice or a referral. Doctors surgeries always get bad reviews- but I can’t praise MMC enough !

Well I too was fed up with the system. But when it works well you have to acknowlede it. I was extremely impressed after asking on an e consult that I was due a dexa scan and annual bloods. Appointments were sent to me for both within days and scan within 3 weeks. 2 weks after scan result I was notified by text that I would get a telephone call with results of the scan from a doctor. Received telephone call on the afternoon that the text had suggested. Discussed with Dr and was referred to Darent Valley. I received a hospital appointment within 3 weeks to discuss my results with a consultant. Wow, couldn't have had better treatment if I had paid for it. Thank you NHS and Meopham team

I avoid going to the dr unless I've tried over the counter medicine etc and suspect I need something stronger. This e-consult review is painful to fill out AND in my experience rarely gets me what I need - a face to face appointment. Most recently it promised I'd hear from a medical professional by 6pm the following day. I got a text tgat same day from the admin team confirming my e-consult form was being passed to GP, but no one bothered to contact me again. So I'm back to square 1. Fantastic.

Since having my daughter I have been thoroughly impressed with the speed at which the practice respond to my e-consults and get my daughter a phone or face to face appointment. The e-consult service is also very efficient. Even for mine and my husbands e-consults we always hear back very quickly. After hearing horror stories of friends who’s GP practice take a very long time to respond to e-consults I’m very happy with Meopham Medical Centre. All staff are helpful and friendly.

I've been a patient of this surgery since 2019 and have found them to be a very good surgery. I have a chronic condition and their care of me for this has been excellent. It's tough waiting to get through for an appointment on the phone, so I use the paper form at the Surgery and regularly get an appointment in a timely fashion. All the doctors I've met are polite, responsive and thorough.

Having experienced long waits at the surgery in the past I expected the online triage and telephone consultations to make things worse. I couldn't have been more wrong. The new system clearly weeds out all those non-essential face to face appointments such that when I turned up for my appointment, there were only a half dozen folks in the waiting room and I saw my Doctor bang on time. That's a first for me in 15 years of using that surgery. So kudos to Meopham Medical Centre for implementing such an efficient system, which hopefully also reduces the strain on their always excellent group of doctors and support staff.

Put off doing e consult in the hope I would improve and not have to use the surgery as everything about it is just frustrating....eventually had to give in and do an e consult today-told at the end of the repetitive questions e consult could not help and I needed to contact the surgery. Went in at caller 13 gave up at caller 9 after 1 hr & 15 mins....useless system and the hoops you have to jump through to get an appointment...unbelievable. This is NOT a reflection on the staff, it is the system...it is useless in my experience.
