Been sectioned 3 times in 5 years, have previously been sectioned when the wards were upstairs, and a couple of other admissions, great groups, nice staff, weird experiences involving the patients and few staff, but overall nice place, lots of nice doctors and nurses and other support staff, really liked the lily room.

There was one staff member who was lovely and bought me a can of coke in the night - but apart from that - all staff in the office were just waiting on their next wage packet. Went on day leave, got a bit tipsy, refused to give me my medication and bam! Criminal Damage of £600+. That wasn't the case at all, while I was in police custody they dismantled a lot of things in the room and THEN had the cheek to take pictures. All I did was move the desk a bit 🥲. If you're looking for reviews because your son/daughter is going there - just don't let them go. One blob of a patient with that dopey hat on flying into my room and eating all my food - pressing my emergency call button when I'm not there. They didn't bat an eyelid when it came to self harm - they all walked away! And I was struggling in those dark times. Unless you've got a noose around your neck they really don't give a toss. One staff member's last words to me was: 'you'll be back.' that was nearly 10 years ago and I've never stepped foot in that disaster of a building since.
Never forget a woman was seizing on the floor and they were all just not bothered at all. Even if it was fake, the standards are disgusting.
Now I've got 2 beautiful children and life is amazing - nothing to do with these A-holes 👌🏻I'm sure they just hire anyone too, it really wouldn't surprise me. It was quite a new build when I was there last - I'm surprised the building is still standing to be honest! So many patients jumped that garden fence also 🥲 so many fires, where was the staff? Oh yeah - in the office! Of course! Surprise surprise! And then the staff had the cheek to get angry when that fire happened 😅 get out of the office thennnnn. (Nothing to do with me I better just say that 🤷)
Anyway - for parents/caregivers - don't let your loved one go here. They will honestly come out worse than they came in - consultants are happy to put you on drowsy medications during the day and let you sleep all the time - what kind of life is that?

Dr Bissera Pramatarova. Ruined my Mental Health by decreasing my antipsychotic meds. Well with less than 24hr of me being discharged everything got increased. So I have no idea what did she manage to achieve. Look she has been working for NHS from 2019. Now before this she was working back in her home country Bulgaria. For supplement/vitamin shop called 'vitafocus'. This is a joke that NHS hired a Doctor like her without any real experience. Mental health it's more serious than selling supplements for 10+years like she did for vitafocus
